Not me mate im an Englishman i,ll stand up for my own right or wrong............But i remember the World Cup the year after we took loads of stick from Italians trying to defend Liverpool and that was their theory about Hillsborough they thought Hillsborough was a gift from God.....sick shit i know..... My thoughts were Heysel could of been any of us West Ham,Millwall,Chelsea,Forest,Leeds,Cardiff thats just how it was back then taking ends was the thing to do.......just fortunately in England grounds were made of stronger stuff and walls didnt fall down when you leant on them !
-
Dont be silly mate i couldnt give 2 shits who is from where i wasnt even aware you wasnt a scouser................you pulled me up for discussing safety in grounds like i was being disrespectful to the dead .......and my simple point is.........these muggy " rip the 96 " tags that seem to be held up like its a special little club is not something proper fans are all hung up on they just wanted truth and justice for their club and their manor........i can respect that but i cant respect folk who play on it like its some sort of " belonging " to something.
-
Sorted now John thankyou sir
-
Well i dont agree why always Liverpool.....but i do agree theres a strange bunch of sheep who jump on this bandwagon of sorrow with their constant " rip the 96 "......the mad thing is they are not even proper Liverpool fans some not even scousers for f**k sake ! I also agree with what someone else said about Heysel.....ive even heard it said over the years Hillsborough was Gods payback for Heysel......i wouldnt go that far as you have to treat every case individually......but it was certainly a strange scarey quirk of fate.

Thats mad Scot is it only political stuff they,ll sling you out for ? surely not for every f**k shit and c**t that gets shouted out !..............I know a few of the grounds i was at last year The City ground Notts Forest was one where they have noticeboards with a number so that during the game if you hear anyone being racist you can text the block/row/seat to this number and the stewards will come and remove them !!!!......I was told it works where it would need say 5 texts for the same seat number or something like that......but get this.....its ONLY for racist stuff, nothing else !........

Lurcher1 ive been around true loyal genuine supporters of Liverpool and had long conversations about this whole Hillsborough thing with them........and Wilf is absolutely right, they dont want sympathy, they dont want this terrible weeping and over respectfulness that people like you do because its what you think Liverpool fans are " supposed to do "............ see this is where its sometimes obvious who actually supports a football club and who just runs around saying they do and acting like they think they,re supposed to act ......................all they wanted was truth and justice and tha

Its a conversation on the internet its not a funeral wake !

Well if you dont think grounds are safer today than they were back then you must be going to different grounds to me

Some time back a member off here asked me for boxing tickets for the York Hall and i said id get him some......but i cant for the life of me remember who it was....its a bit late notice i know but ive got a few tickets left over for the show tonight......if you happen to read this in the next few hours drop me a pm and you could meet me there if you like.....wont cost you nothing as i didnt pay for them. My mates son Billy Morgan is having his first 8 rounder, quite a few of our lads out the Trad gym are fighting,Billy Joe Saunders,Frank Buglioni,Bradley Skeete should be a good night........co

I dont agree.....why not compromise......why cant grounds have 1 terrace where the " boisterous " ( for want of a better word ) fans can go.........no soppy birds to worry about no little kids.......still have the segregation but no reason why a bunch of lads cant go for a sing song and a knees up without silly little doris housewives telling you to sit down !............No reason to take every last bit of humour and fun out of following your club not everyones out for a tear up.............not anymore anyway
-
You obviously havent been to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates lately ....i go for a Jimmy there even if i dont need one just to see what the latest lines at Harvey Nichols are !!.......Grounds are far safer now than they ever were you could let a couple of 9 year olds walk into any premier league ground in the country on their own they wouldnt come to any harm these days.......................unfortunately what you gain in safety you lose in atmosphere and i much prefer them old days before football became a family day out......stewarding,football intelligence, cameras, ticketting allocations,sa

The reason the ol bill were not helping is because most of them were stood around the halfway line forming a barricade to stop Liverpool and Forest fans " getting to each other "....................watch any old news clip you will see them yourself, they were so obssessed with stopping hooligan trouble they stood by while folk died.....but its ok because they didnt die from hooliganism !! I remember chatting with a lad some years ago a Spurs fan who had been injured at that Leppings Lane end against Wolves 81 or 82 whenever it was..............he said there was 50 odd injured all over the pitc
-
oh course it was.....................they knocked my little mob out in the quarters ............after we,d gone and beat Arsenal in an earlier round as well. Anyway......that plod who Bezzas on about actually went on record as saying " i have nothing to hide " ............saucy c**t !..............maybe should of said nothing ELSE to hide.
-
oh ok i just looked again, parted at the m6 i gotcha.....i forget now who was the other semi final Everton and who ?.....cant be arsed to look it up..... And by the way Chelsea did have electric fences...............they just never got turned on.
-
I would imagine the least they could expect is some kind of perverting the course of justice charge........i wouldnt like to see individual plods on the day charged after all they was just doing as they was told.......or even the ones who made bad decisions after all the ,s just seemed to be a decade of disasters the Bradford fire,Kings Cross station,Townsend Thorsen,The Marchioness,Piper Alpha it just seemed a time where public events took a hammering none of them were on purpose the only difference being the horrible lies and cover ups that took place after Hillsborough they should be strung

I see The Sun bottled it today.....anything other than " sorry " on the front page in big bold letters was always going to be a cop out ! Id be interested to know what the victims families would actually see as justice........after all said and done those coppers, ambulance staff etc on the ground were all doing what they were told by corrupt authorities higher up..........I think this case has showed the best and worst of our societies, its just strange the way the best of society was the " scummy football mob ".....and the worst of society was the so called " keepers of law and order "....
-
It wasnt it was about " overpaid spoilt children and the grown men that follow it "... 2 posts in ......................referring to footballers on a thread about Hurling............but f**k it you carry on.
-
I apologise mate i thought you was getting at me ...........too used to folk hurling shit at me i got on the defensive im sorry chief i dont disrespect folk until theres reason to and i jumped the gun on this occasion. I just dont get why or how the club not playing a match on the anniversary of the tragedy all these years on makes any difference to the victims.........that was my only point at the time............but anyway i probably didnt phrase it with too much class so my bad again.
-
Me as well mate the clean air takes some beating but i still find myself back in the stench of the East End most days !......The Lynn eh,Danny Williams old club....and Mark Kaylor if i remember right,or was he at Fitzroy Lodge i forget now....good little club anyway.
-
Fair comment....never seen it let alone played it......i,ll f**k off i think i only made comment because the chap started banging on about football and i couldnt understand why.......each to their own and all that
-
Alternatively..........................if you like Hurling dont start a thread slagging off football !!.............Cant say ive ever watched Hurling hence being a sports fan i looked at the thread........................................only to sit watching folk slagging off football ..............Mo Theresa for one so young you have a lot of advice to give, born out of a lifetime of experience no doubt !
-
Yep i know where you mean on the corner of St James St....not a Tubbys stall though is it.......................i only venture round there under the cover of darkness and even then its only in the mad rush to get back through the Rotherhithe Tunnel to safety Are you on the manor then Marshman ?
-
You listen to talksport as well then ......i heard Grobbelar tell that story the other week.....thought he came across a real nice fella its easy to see how those players would be forever affected by that day.
-
Stone me son your scarey !!.....i dont know you from adam yet you remember word for word something i said f**k knows how long ago.....do you have stalker like tendancies or just a photographic memory.............my " dry their eyes " comment was as regards the football club not the victims of a disaster......if everything came to a stop on anniversaries of tragedies the world would stand still.................................thats nothing to do with people fighting for truth and justice
-
Which one was that i think theres only 2 stalls left now one in Petticoat Lane the other in Walthamstow High St.............they do say in London your never more than 20 foot away from a rat so i can well believe it.......get a good atmosphere round the stalls on a saturday morning especially when the Hammers are at home
