To think in December Moyes was probably manager of the month, we were team of the month and sitting in 6th with our best points tally for the half way mark. A few games later and people are calling for him to get pumped.

The thing that frustrates me about Moyes is transfers - full backs and striker have been needed for a few windows and nothing.

I’m not sure what our fans expect - you’ve got Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle, Man Utd, Chelsea all bigger than us and we’re ahead of Chelsea who have spunked 1bN and in touching distance of Man Utd and Newcastle… who do you replace him with?

The next 4 games will interesting.

Couldnt agree more mate....i dont like the football we're playing any more than other fans but i know and accept why we're playing it.....you'll get lads like Wilf saying things like " i expect to see a team having a go like we always did "......but those fans were not happy with just " having a go " they wanted to win stuff and be a big club in a big ground......did they think we was going to get that by playing nice attacking " have a go " football like we played at the old gaff ?.....if they did then they are naive as f**k in my opinion ....you's wanted European football and this is what it looks like !

Chaps like me didnt want the move because we was happy being a little club with long standing traditions playing football the right way.....but we lost out and now silly ol fuckers like me are customers instead of fans who moan the same old moans week in week out to these " new club " people who have now gone back to wanting what we already had ffs !!

Regards Moyse transfers i think he's made some decent buys but money wise like any club he can only spend whats available.....he's proved he can unite players, get a game from sides and improve the competitive level of the football club.....as you rightly say if players dont do the basics from time to time then thats on them and yesterday they was a shambles.

  4. To be fair we was due a spanking......with a few important players out we've had a poor response from certain players you would think would be grateful for the opportunity.....how much of it you can stick on Moyse im not sure....our players know how we play, have proved they can make it work, but just didnt turn up yesterday it was f****n disgraceful quite frankly.....shameful.

Every cloud though i won a nice few quid on a mad bet......i had a feeling we'd get totally overwhelmed from the first minute and had a bet that West Ham would not get a touch of the ball in the first 60 seconds......at 20/1 i was all over it and came up trumps 😄.....sign of the times when thats the sort of shit im betting on !

As for them pricks walking out at half time.....short memories/false entitlement/big club mentality/who the f**k do you think you are you soft c**ts !

  6. How do blokes wear them flip flops with the bit that go's between your toes ....women do it easy but they have much tougher feet than men.....is it a cross dressing thing 😄

I only wear them on holiday and even then only the slider type things....feet are just ghastly f****n things whoever they belong to anyway 🤮

  7. The only thing id like to see trialled is rwo referees, one in each half......with the speed of the modern game its a big ask for one ref to be spot on with everything........if between two refs and two linesman they cant get things right then we'll just swallow it.....but its time they f****d VAR off now they've tried it,it didnt work....move on.

I'm not sure if "being on the same wavelength" is what makes Rice/Odegard partnership work so well, undoubtedly they compliment each other very well, I think Rice does all.the simple work brilliantly and then some... Odegard knows he can operate in that hole and Rice protects him... but Rice is more than just a holding midfielder, I'm seriously impressed with him mate, he's better than I thought to be honest...to step up into bone fide title challengers and it's seamless...he'll only get better and like you sat that partnership is developing all the time..

Jesus does everything well apart from the most important thing as a forward, score goals.. he works around the box too much, he's just not selfish enough.. Haaland doesn't give a shit about anything but goals, every run is made to penetrate, and De Bruyne is the best passer/spotter of a run maybe in Premier league history, he's different class mate... Arsenal need a Haaland type to compete, I think they have pretty much everything else, but City are machines at this stage of the season...I can't see anything but City again.

With my mob i always booked Rice as one of those Gerrard types powerful running with the ball, timing his runs to crop up in the box, breaking things up etc.....but at Arsenal he fits in rather than dominates which i guess being amongst better players allows him to do that....he WAS our midfield whereas at Arsenal he's a part of it.

Haarland/DeBruyne are the perfect match i agree......reminds me a little bit of the Dalglish/Rush partnership years ago,the creator who can also score great goals with the out and out finisher.

Dont know why im always comparing to Liverpool players someone pulled me up on it the other day :whistling:

Yes I would agree haaland is a finisher you only need to look at how many touches he has he may have ten in a game yet he's  scores a hatrick but with debruyne foden or grelish behind him creating chances and him being so clinical I can't see city now not winning the prem  again but I don't see that in Jesus or any arsenal player that cutting edge to win them the prem  they  create  enough chances but until they get that clinical striker I can't see them winning the prem great team to watch play

Thats it mate yes.....as a neutral both sides are brilliant to watch but City just seem to have a killer instinct that Arsenal dont have yet.

i agree not the best fight but it will always be better win then out joshua has had

All you are doing mate is showing how naive your understanding of boxing is......an older Klitchsko gave a much better performance against Joshua than he did against Fury....it happens.

The Joshua/Klit fight was probably the best heavyweight title bout in the last 30 years......the Fury/Klit fight was probably the worst.....its just boxing and how styles gel......a Fury/Usyk fight has the prospects of being a good interesting fight if it is refereed strongly....if it has a weak referee who allows Fury to maul and hold it will be a terrible spectacle.

Loads of ingredients go into a fight i dont know how you manage to enjoy the sport when you are so blind to its entirety.

It's a great partnership, Odegard has turned into some player hasn't he...De Bruyne is the best in that role imo, and I think Bruno at UTD is a great playmaker.. bit Odegard is the closest for me to De Bruyne...he needs a Rice though, Rice does everything very very well, you struggle to find a weakness...top midfielder..

England have some real talent now, with him and Belingham that must be the best midfield pairing in Europe currently?

Odegaard seems to play the simple passes with such forward thinking intellect its like he sees pictures of play and tries to develop them he often looks on another level to his team mates to me do you think Rice is on his wavelength yet or something that develops over time maybe ?.......im not sure Jesus is physically up to the talent thats behind him in the way Debruyne connects with Haarland for instance would you agree ?

calibre of opponents he had a few good wins but nothing out the ordinary you can’t thrash fury’s resume then rave about who naz fought

who was his best win kelly ?

Oh ffs can you not string a sentence together without Fury coming into your thoughts !

Whos raving !!!.....Naz fought for world titles,Whittaker has just started his pro career.

In your eagerness to debate just stop and think what you are saying from time to time 😉

Got ya.. probably an avoidable accident then...

Its odd that Fury is wearing an open face head guard 2 weeks out from a big fight, some people dont like full face headguards but it looks pretty poor, scrappy up close sparring its either very naive or just unprofessional that nobody thought it a good idea to address the issue before an accident happened.

Happy retirement to John Ryder - what a warrior who got everything out of his ability

Absolutely.....smashing lad John went further than his ability should have taken him which was down to hard word and dedication....i was around that gym early on its lovely to see John leave the game financially sound and everything intact.....pity a few of the others didnt but thats life,John has a lot to be proud of.

I'm not sure of his record exactly, but he only lost the once and must've been in 20 or so championship fights... 35 plus fights?

He had a lot of hand trouble later on, which probably was a big factor into him finishing when he did... Im unsure how many times he was actually hurt, he was so unothodox it made him look more troubled than he was at times, and then as you say he would produce some ridiculous shot from a crazy angle and that was that..lol

You could say struggled, I reckon apart from Barrea he knew what he was doing!! Lol

Those herky jerky unorthodox movements Naz made had a lot of brains behind them, creating momentum from odd angles etc.....whereas this lad Whittaker at the moment is standing in range doing them for no reason other than to " be different " in my opinion.

Don't know how true it is, but the media yap is he struggled with his sparring, maybe a bit got left in the ring with the Nganou fight, he certainly never expected to be put on his ass that's for sure... I think Paddy's point about his mental state is very valid as well, I've no doubt the cut is real, was an accident etc..but surely with only 2 weeks to his biggest fight you would be completely risk adverse and hard sparring would be off the agenda?

Hard sparring 2 weeks out is off the agenda if you have had a full camp......if you havent had a full camp your reactions and timing will not be where they need to be in order to start tapering off which most fighters do 2 weeks out......again,it doesnt hurt Fury for this fight to be postponed thats a fact.....the rest you just make your own mind up.

so he has got to that low weight in ten weeks how do you do that has he starved his self ? or has he been doing cardio work

i don’t live with him but i watch his fights so i know he is light

i thought usyk didn’t sign in feb it was never going to be in london when there’s saudi money

23 december he didn’t want i know that and this time he’s cut can’t do nowt with that

how many big fights get made this quick and who ?

Mate you are too emotionally wrapped up in Fury to have a sensible discussion about him.....its like talking to a besotted schoolboy for crying out loud !

Fury has faults that you cant/wont see lets leave it at that.

naz was always getting caught doing it  and dropped pulling  back when he was at it wasn’t he just had that one shot thst could get him out a trouble

but whittaker seems to have good power aswell

Lets see how Whittaker perfects that style when he starts fighting the calibre of opponent Naz fought 😉

On another note, so impressed with how Declan Rice has just slotted in at Araenal and is probably there most important player now, he was brilliant on Sunday, I'm not sure who I'd pick out of him and Rhodri at the moment to be honest...proper midfielders... must be gutting tinged with pride for Hammers fans, another brilliant talent through the club...

Nothing new mate its how it always was i dont have a problem with it.....only fans who now book ourselves as a big club should really be getting annoyed....and i never have.

Anyway id still prefer that Odegaard given the choice, some player that boy id imagine he's made the move pretty comfortable for Rice the way he plays.
