Blue lights and a long drive home? Not everyone has the luxary of been born and brought up the countryside where they can just pop a couple of fields over and run whatever they want. And all this bollocks .. just for the food, bullshit. you do it becuase you enjoy the sport first and formost, the food aspect is a bonus, but sport is your primary concern, if it wernt you'd simple nip down the shop for your meat, its easier and cheaper over all. Nobody is starving and NEEDS the caught meat in this day and age, do they? I don't like leaving deer, but when you've been chased by the keepe

If the law wern't so f****d up i expect 90% of the carcasses would not be left. Simple as.

And you hae had the dog 3 days it gets better and better.

My little collie x bitch has been on barf for a couple of years and thrives of it, the bull x dog i got a couple of months ago started loosing weight once the cold weather came no matter how much i give him so i had to put him on dry aswell and hes put the weight back on now. Could be becuase his body was use to dry and stuggled breaking down the meat efficently, i dont know.

I love it when people say "hes gunna be a good dog" How the fook do you know? Or another favorite is people make out they have a good fox/deer/what ever dog. Then you ask how many hes had and its erm um eh, 2-3 A good dog isnt a good dog until hes retired or died without failure IMO. But thats just me. And merle24 I know both dogginlad and DFK and can quite easily believe DL done a 800 mile round trip, having done 6-700 mile plus with him last season or the season before. 40 miles across to meet a lad and 250 down the country to where we was lamping, one way, then driving about too, i

Shame to say these are from close to me by the music, username and place they had the cat looks familiar. Dont recconise the dogs though. Have you seen there comments, they would match there big dog ( which needs help killing cats) against any bull x .. it really is a shame ...

Nothing wrong with rehoming a dog somewhere where it will actually be welcome and loved despite its percieved shortcomings .One man's meat is another's poison and all that . The problem is that so many people expect instant success just because they have bought the trendy cross of the moment . The one that everyone says is the bee's knees and that all other kinds of lurcher are just not up to it. How often have we heard something like , "I had a saluki x whatever but it was cr*p so I swapped it for a beddie x grey x bull [bANNED TEXT] my mate was gettin rid of ". These ge

Northface windstoppers are the best gloves ive found for warmth. Can sit out the window doin 20-30mph in the minus's and feel no cold as long as they are kept dry. Ones wet though they are shit. They tolerate light rain but nothing too heavy.

now whose being macho Agree with that though, pet home or pts

So to everyone who says a dogs for life etc, if you own a dog, you done evverything you could with it and it still didnt do the job is was bred to do, you would keep it? Might aswell own a shitzu if thats the case. Come on get real it cost the same to feed a bad'un as it does a good'un and if your attatuide is "its the best becuase its mine", well that speaks volumes and im glad i dont run the dogs with you.

Nobody living in a society experiences complete freedom. The only way to be free is to be solitary. I.e not have to answer to anyone or depend on anyone. Law is something that made up which you choose to submit to or be oblivious to. As far as hunting and fredom goes, if you still hunt you have lost no freedom. I hunt becuase I want to, i choose to participate in marches, protests, letters to MPs because I want to be a member of socioty. If i don't believe in a law i choice not to follow it, simple. Your free until you CHOOSE not to be. Might ff typed out a load of shite there but i know

I've had that a few times, one night when running rabbits slipped the dog, missed it and the dog ran another one on the way back, only to catch a glimse of another dog running behind ours. Don't know where it came from for where it went. Strange.

We was having a squeek o nthe lamp the other week and i saw a black shaddow flash past the side of us. had a look in the next gate way and there some scruffy looking farm dog wagging its tail so we gave it a rabbit and it f****d off, it was suprise

Too true donk. A main leader is needed who can then deligate what needs to be done to the area leaders and so on. Organisation is key lots of good ideas have been thrown about now it just needs to start being put into practice. Any lads from the northwest should contact Mushroom as he looks to be our leader

Inbox empty mate. But as higgins said, i wouldn't be ideal candiate to run things, im not around in the long run. From early spring im not going to be about. But will do as much as possible. Higgins; good ideas about the other forums. Maybe a new topic needs starting about a possible march and pinning so members of this forum notice it and get involved.
-
I agree higgins. Everything you have said is correct. But you have to start somewhere and there is no way any thl member is going to get huge numbers without the support of so called country sports organisations to help with promos, funding and contacts etc. So what options are left? Do nothing or make the best of the little you have, and hope for a snow ball effect for the NEXT march until note is taken. Doing nothing is a sure way to achieve nothing ...

Need to know basis Edited: to get any southerners with lurchers/terriers you will have to go to the show ferternity

Im in Liverpool mate

Probably mate. I'd help where i can ( but aint got the first clue where to start) time, date place etc would need be essential to the success. I think January would be a good time, gives time to get organised and put the word out. Now what would be best week or weekend? During the week would cause most distrupt i.e media coverage and public display but the weekend would allow more support due to work etc ( only being a small march i think it would need al lthe support it could get) I think the best best bet with small marches would to have a few scattered around the country. One because

A march is needed. Alls we need is someone with the time and know how to organise one. Even as said, a small thl one. Come on someone on here must have experience in organising one. As already said quite a few on here would be up for it
-
I think another march is in order. The CA do not seem to be too bothered, has anyone on here ever organised anthing similar before? Even a small one, to start with would get the ball rolling and might give the bigger organisations the wake up call they obviously need to get involved and and organise another mass protest. This site must be able to drum up atleast 100 people to get involved then add there mates to that. I know of atleast 20 lads around here that would get involved. I don't know maybe someone who knows a bit more than me could get something in motion?
