Lol!! Buy a pack of rockets and leave it at his door just to see him blow his top..! I don't know of any in that bracket. But the H&N Silver Point (11.8gr) and H&N Rabbit Magnum (16.85gr) are quite good. Though I'm not sure how they'd perform in a 12ft/lb even at short ranges. Try the Crosman Premiers in 10.5gr. A friend of mine swears by them. Valid argument. But Air rifles, I feel are more fun. Also, for hunting, its the challenge of stalking to get within range that makes it more interesting. I was hoping you'd say that. Well, an online review showed just that. The bb did separate on impact. But even with that, a regular pellet penetrated much farther, at the same time imparting more energy, being heavier than the Rockets. An interesting find was that the tiny bb's attached to the end of these pellets were of such good quality that they can make better products in itself! Wonder when Gamo would wake up to that. That ad was under a lot of criticism for being unsporting and encouraging dangerous behaviour. I mean, who'd be retarded enough to shoot a hog with a .177?! That's just cruel. I wouldn't shoot a hog with my .22! I haven't used them. Though most people who have, dont seem to like their accuracy. However, reviews are mixed. Some people seem to be getting great groups with them. But Gamo seems to be enveloped in controversy all the time these days. I don't really trust gamo after watching there ad 180lb hog shot with a raptor pellet must have been about 10 yards away 1600 feet per second the hog was probably half dead anyway, what do you think of the gamo rockets?.

No permission as yet, i will try these norica pellets, thought about .22 but might as well buy a catapult or throw stones instead. girlie calibre did you say MOLLY MOLLY :kiss: thanks come back when youve got some permission and tell me how 2 shoot......177 over penetrates, lead at the relatively slow speeds of an air rifle will NOT buckle or break up, most of the time (if you ever get a permission you might find out) if you dig a pellet out of a rabbit etc you could stick it back in the gun and do another with it, maybe a bit of "smearing" where its hit bone and that but p

The red box is those nasty prometheus yellow plastic shrouded pellets that eats barrels great penetration but crap grouping five inch at 17 yards in my rifle afraid to try anymore low in lead. Probably best in smooth bore low powered rifles.

Wonder how I missed that! I have a review of the HW100 lying at home (Airgun World) I'll see of he suggests any pellets and let you know tomorrow. What pellets have you tried already? I love domed pellets for all round use. They have sufficient penetration too. But I'm not sure of hunting at ~ yards with a 12ft/lb rifle. Will they carry enough energy downrange? Tried a maggie once at 70 yards dropped him dead hit him in the neck would not try on a pigeon though only if sure of a head shot. Tried numorous pellets found so far aa and h&n ftt the best here is my pellets.

Another sent email asking for the cost of converesion. We do not have the figures for these parts in front of us, but you would be looking at around $300-400 for the conversion. Thats some serious power i have read 800 to 900 is best for accuracy. have you tried pildriver pellets built for super sonic speed.

45ftp 21 grain how many feet per second. I would have thought you could hit cans at say 200 yards with that sort of power what make of pellets are you using? i have managed to hit a magpie first shot with hw97k 11.5ftp round about 780 feet per second .177 70 yards dropped him dead aa pellets.
