  2. About the boat Long-Tail mate, there was 1 that we seen last year swimming to a island 3 nights in a row, the 4th night it got a .22-250 for it's troubles since our hunting law meant I couldn't slip my dogs on it , good pic Fuzzy mate
  3. the way you describe the small hole with contents removed i dont believe it was a fox either but dont be fooled into thinking foxes dont swim out to islands to predate on nesting birds they do :yes: Seen it happen a few times on my fishing ponds
  4. My old deer/grey x collie/greys were true all rounders, even caught trout and salmon out the streams but I used to take them all over to try them on different land
  5. mate I was thinking english budgies not foreign ones , not really as I love our little finches and that might even get a trio of quail for the floor as my flight will be too small for a white pheasant off the shoot

  12. True enough Billy, my mates were laughing with the water just going down after the rain but I wasn't bothered as we were fishing a pond

  14. :yes: mate I used to have quails, cockatiels and budgies in 1 aviary together, they certainly helped keep the floor clean of spilt seed
  15. Just a shame she is a geordie Lab and Mick as Lurcher1 would say
  16. This one Mick mate I don't think she would be much use digging to terriers though
