  9. its not good form to put folks names up i know him. he's never bred any plummers. aint bred a litter for seven years. and they where russells.

  11. nice mutt. i cant change my ip either and my dog set a car on fire also. not mine but a welsh lad that came up for a hunt. so we have somethings in common
  12. get a few books read up and get your locator and nets a good digging spade and go get um. the best way to meet like minded folk is out in the fieds good luck.
  13. most of my rabbits are caught mid crash if my dog was sent to retreve a wounded fox. and he hesatated at a hedge and ost it. i would be very disapointed in him. a ot of it depends on the dogs i wouldnt want a ponce sighthound saturated flying machine bouncing of a hawthorn hedge my dog has been doing this on a weekly basis with only miner injuries. i once saw a whippet fly through a hedge and come out with the rabbit. and a gash that took three months to heal. wouldnt have one gold plated. not becouse they arnt any good. but becouse they are no good for me as for coursing apart from go
  14. same in my area i think it was a light hearted post. showing the bond between hagens lass and the terrier.
  15. all yorkies are bred off a dog that was a champion in the rat pits-its bound to come out in the odd 1,Ive seen yorkies worked to fox-she was an exception id say-possibly the most evil minded dog ive ever come accross-the terriers i kept as a kid were all bred down off her (there was trialling staff, wire fox terrier, jack russell, glen of imaal in them as well+probably other breeds).Ive a fullbred plummer bitch that im digging to -shes yet to leave a fox alive -maybe i got luckey when i bought her dam or maybe people dont like brian plummers books and think therefore his line of terriers cant be
  16. try pm ing tinytiger off here. he is your side of the water
  17. ive a good idea what you are on about. i was in the forces for a short while good hunting to ya
  18. a good policy . i enjoyed the footage. john maybe you should stick to the deer. if you cant show respect to the fox you would be better leaving that task to someone that can apart from that small observation. i enjoy your posts Thanks for your wee observation, but I like deer stalking and LOVE killing foxes, I have just zeroed my 7mm rem mag with 110gr speer TNT hollow points @ 3,600 fps. Now thats respect. cant argue with that
  19. you can teach a yorkie to rat. i wish i had a pound for everytime someone spouted this one liner. the thuth of course is that you may be able to teach the odd yorkie to rat. but would it be a top class ratter or just get by. you can teach a cairn or westie to work to ground. but to what standard. the working bred plummer is a first rate ratting terrier and is hard to beat at this job. as for earthwork. some of the workbred plummers do a job below ground. most of the folk that slag them are fanny,s trying to be realdeal terriermen
