    i just find it funny no threads were started like this dec/jan when the hares were at there best to me it dont show utter confidence in there dogs at all i'l match anyone in june/july and slip,coarse,kill it is not sporting in march for pups it is mate you were saying your pups killing them well on the other thread keep him for next year if that is the case on the lamp mate not day time i havent runned him daytime yet so im starting him next month now the hares are easyer april hell you boys sure no your game sure do

    probebley the bigest influence in the coursing field over the past 20to30 years has been the intreduction of saluki blood surly this came from well bread stuff witch dosent come cheap !

    What i dont understand is everyone goes on about these saluki xs to catch hares n thats usually all they DO catch you should have a dog you can slip on whatever is in the field andhave a good attempt of catching it were talking coursing dogs son not rabbiting dogs read the thread!

    ok gentelmen would you agree in theory you would put the very best coursing dog to the very best bitch regardless of breeding with hopes to get the best pups or at least one pup whitch is exeptional breed from that and so on line breeding ye constant good stuff a top blood line people will always pay well for proven stuff but there will always be exeptions laddie ect

    the leicestershire lads merlin 'eve apparently were lso responsable for laddie the accident im preety sure becaous they were out the fens alot at the time there would have been probebly a good mix of stuff in the strain from travelers rough coated mike douglas kind of stuff probebly a mix of all the best coursing stock around at the time who knows !
