HaHa..you are both right, been a member on there for a few years..I use this one now http://www.ukfalconryforum.com/forum.php You have to pay a tenner for full access but you dont get the tossers on there..Well worth the money especially for beginners..
  6. Whereabouts are you???
  7. I do historic falconry and i havent heard of this and i cant' find anything relating to it..Laws where changed by Henry 8th to make it easier for him to hunt.Falconry was a very big thing to him and he often missed Court to take part in the sport. He also nearly died out Hawking when he fell in a dyke!

I think if people actually tried to help on there instead of their first reaction being to slag the poster off, the birds would be helped quicker!.A certain clique on there with their mightier than thou attitude do more harm than good. There are however some good guys on there who are prepared to help..It's the few on there that spoil it.. The good thing about this forum is that people get all the help they need without any hassle!

  10. Do a search in google for Falconry centres,When you say courses what do you mean? a flying day experiance. If you want to learn hunting then you need a mentor to teach you the art properly over quite some time.

  17. Hi, As a breeder i have looked into this. You can have as many dogs on your property as you like as long as you dont' breed them, you are looking after them and they are not causing a nuisance. You are also allowed to keep up to 4 breeding bitches and as many dogs as you like. The amount of puppies the 4 bitches have make no difference at all,so in all if you stick to 4 breeding bitches you will be fine. I have heard of cases where people have been prosecuted for having more than 4 bitches and the courts do seem to frown upon it for some reason even though they have no quarms letting more
