    Nah thats not me mate. I know only the basics myself, i just like to do it with them so they do something differnt than 14 weeks of non stop army training, they need a break now and then lol

    Because mate, i'm in the army and i'm a recruit instructor, weve got a day tomorow where i we can fill the programe with so extra curricula activity. so we do a day of basic survival like, how to light a fire, build a shelter, then they get to skin, gut then eat a rabbit. better than having them sitting around bulling boots again. lol.

    Doing a lesson tomorow for my recruits on skinning etc etc, so went out today with a good mate and hit a local permission, we got a nice bag of 13 through the day and ive still one in the freezer from sunday. We took his dog skip and my 12 month pup sasha, and they both done great, Skip picked one up that slipped the purse net and my little girl caught and held two down that hit the purse nets and pulled the pegs out was a first for her its the first time she has had a adult rabbit in her mouth. We took two adult ferrets and two young uns, and all four worked well. So all in all

    i let sasha off the lead pretty much straight away, she was always nervous and would always look to check i was there, soon as she looked at me i whistled three times and said here doing the old waving the arm thing and she would come bounding back, give her a treat and let her off again. i done this few times a walk and after a week no need to even look at me just whislted 3 times and bounding back she will come. This still works to date even when training her on the lamp (she is now 12 months) soon as lamp is turned off quickl whistle and bounding back she comes i found it works atreat.

    my sisters golf was a dog, so ended up buying a corsa for 400 pound, its tax and tested. wilt 100,000 miles on it. not a bad little runner only a 1.4 will do for ferrying them around for now till i can get my hands on some money.

    My old permission i took a good mate of here, we had some good nights working his dogs on there. When i moved i gave that to him and another friend as it was now to far to travel, due to me inviting him on there he got to know the farmer so was a lot easier to hand over. My new area is hard to get ive asked for some one to let me on theres when they are but no replies lol. Oh well, back to driving circles around here till i find something.

    mate i live inpirbright wich is surrounded on all sides by military land, i am a army recruit instructor there. for me to get nr cattle is a good drive, yes i know its no excuse but when i am working 6-7 day weeks non stop it dose get hard getting out to places that has cattle. i do what training when i can. She has just hit 12 months and now is when her training will start full. I will of course let people know that she is not fully stock broken and if this is a drama on there land then i am not at all fussed if they said no. stock brocken is great yes, but not all land is full of cattle.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......... If I was you.... I'd concentrate on getting the basics right, you don't need land with rabbits on it to do that. No one is going to allow a potential sheep worrier on their land mate.... farmers don't take kindly to such things and before you know it, both you and him will be on here asking to go out with folk with permission lol. i understand mate, but all the land around me has no cattle, so only time i can do this is when we travel, the permission i have is only wheat and pea fields no live stock so its hard to do. when ever where near cattle i go throug

    just about, not fully occasionaly she will head to the wind but never caused rtrouble or bit just runs over then runs back.
