Micky they were never a strain,they're a type of ferret.Over the years I saw ferrets that were classed as greyhounds and others were called big yellow bucks.even though they both were yellow only one was classed as a greyhound. Magwitch any chance of seeing your wee ones outside of the glass,they look real tidy.This is something I would like to read more on.

all my ferrets are small,some more so than others,but none of them are EVER starved.I dont know how good others would rate them,.a greyhound ferret as I know it is a yellow slimline ferret,I have a jill that fits the bill,but as long as they're quiet to handle and willing to hunt hard for the day they then satisfy me.In Ireland ALL albino ferrets are known as greyhounds and its only this season since I started writing on here have I called my ferrets Jills and Hobs.We have called them bucks and does since the start of time,or maybe even longer I know I have to move with the times Micky I

Keeping ferrets since I was 14 years old and never injected any.I lost ferrets on maybe 2 to 3 occasions in all that time,so dont think theres a real need personally.

I broached this subject a while back,I dumped my bottles last summer and reverted back to bowls.I saw my ferrets savaging the ends of the bottles in the heat last year and it was due to not being able to get enough water to drink.I havn't had a problem since I reintroduced them.Has anyone seen the larger versions of the rabbit bottle?You can screw a 2 liter coke bottle onto the neck of the dispenser,it allows a good ammount of water to be released,very good they look.

Well if you have any interest in fishing Frank make the most of it,there are some unreal areas for fishing,trout,salmon,sea fishing,pike,course fishing.Its all there just for the taking.Ferreter joe I think but I'm not sure the pollock was around the 10 lb weight but I could be wrong.You should have seen the poor kid trying to get it onto the boat,and he got absolutely no help from anyone.Made his year I have to say.

Here are some shots of our fishing attempts,take into consideration we dont fish a whole lot so not too bad really.1st picture is of my son who was 12 years old at the time,he caught this fish with Mary Gavin Hues out of Achill pier.It was the 2cd biggest fish of the day,The 2cd pic is my good self after fishing MOHER LOUGH on the Lisscarney rd,i had them for brekkie soon after.Last photo is after a mornings fishing with my son,we had 9 trout between us but we put back 5 as we didnt need that many,my son had 6 and I had 3.If ever you want great fishing with brilliant people,Mayo is the county

My missus went to the doc for a check up as she wasn't feeling too well,she did an allergy test and the results were what I expected,she alergic to 1 exercise 2sex 3me and 4 housework of any form. If only I were wealthy,she'd be history for sure
