  2. went there with the family to the theme park.,amazing experience, great part of the world till I got lost in Omagh and the troops stopped the car,not too friendly at the time but understandable when you look at the history that went with the area, this was 12 months after the atrocity that happened there,Belleek was a great town also, very friendly spot and we stayed in Ballyshannon, drank in the White Horse Inn,Kids had a ball. The one place I expected to be good was not at all impressive,Bundoran.I did go there during the marching season in the north and the place was full of Folk escaping the tr

  13. Through sheer boredom and lack of work I decided to take a trip out to the sticks and have a walk, burn off some cobwebs,so I arrive at the yard at 8.30 to mell William the land owner allrealdy busy at his work, after the initial chat he tells me the goats have been around but theres only a small few in the gang. So unleash the 2 dogs, the kelpie x and my saluki 1st x.They are good company out along and can deal with any unexpected surprises we might meet,if you get my drift.William told me only the day before the goats were high on the ridges to my right hand side and had early kids in to

  16. thats another good point, theres a few salukis down our way that are treacherous fukkers to dog and man and anything else, and once they do their job well,,,the sheep worrying problems is..........well.........not a problem.
  17. I also agree with you Dunkanon, but the dog I heard about was an outstanding animal on every quarry and his encounter with mutton was known and his sins overlooked with the strict practice of never running him around or near sheep again,he was also worked I am told to the ripe old age of 12,and to his last days he never encountered sheep again due to his owners discretion,he also sired the litter mentioned and none of the pups I knew of ever looked at sheep and were hunted amongst them ..I believe his value as a working dog took precedent over his fondness for mutton,(which by the way was a one

  19. http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/stories/2015/02/16/4178920.htm and there was I thinking they were squeaky clean, they tell me on the side of the road all lurcher men are vermin, not sporting at all huh?this kind of stuff does no one any favours.
  20. when pups are born from a sheep killer, the pups dont know this, its a state of mind the dog has developed, the pups can be broken to sheep even if both its parents have killed sheep.I know of such a litter a few years back,4 of the pups were solid with sheep all through their lives. The pup im having bother with came from 2 100%stock steady parents but this lad has really gone in the other direction, hopefully this summer I will try change his mind on the matter
  21. just picture yerself with a bandana and a tat across yer chest of yer favourite monster with that mean look in yer eye............wicked mon................................,and the street cred that goes with it ...........and the snow shovel needed to clean up after them................ priceless (just to clarify the bandana should be on yer head and not yer chest, thats important now so dont get mixed up and have it on yer chest cause you'll look a bit foolish )
