  9. 3 weeks ago to the day I took the lurchers for a stroll into a woodland that is extensively used by motor x fanatics and I expected to be devoid of any wildlife in the surrounding area due to the disturbance they make.I parked up at 8 a.m. and left the 3 beasts loose. We strolled away on the pathway that was well broken up from the tyres of the dirt bikes, gravel and fine sand was the order of the day and dense woodland for miles about. After half an hour we were climbing the hill and 3 dogs in tow right at my heels. It was my intention that I would walk an hour or more out and then about face and
  10. I had a lash off this poaching craic when I was around 19,had good success till I got caught by a yorkshire man, busted my lips and nose and on another occasion he shot the dog but not fatally I might add,.He paid dearly for it though but I lost my nerve after that lol,Never returned to his patch again. It was like the stint at gamekeeping I had, took the glossy image off it for me,soley because I really didnt give a fuk that the foxes were enjoying the land owners pheasants, working for pittance and bowing down to the fukker, not for me.I prefer to read about it now lol,

  14. Im on FB and have no bother with it,i was added to terrier pages and lurcher forums by friends and i left them as fast as I went in.I believe over here in Ireland a lot of the dogs stolen have been seen and picked for robbing by certain folk on those very pages.I have not put much up on there anymore and find it very useful to chat to like minded folk in private.Ive kept in touch with many friend around the country that are too far from me to see regularly. The only time it becomes a stupid site is when you put up something stupid. Its up to you to keep out of harm, easily done if you think be

  20. thanks folks,I have to say in 6 years thats the 3rd fox ive shot and it never sits well with me.After I shot it yesterday I thought''what a waste''.The landowners are always saying if I see a red fellow to drop him where he stands as theres massive sheep country there..If you cant eat it then why shoot it.There are other more enjoyable ways of dealing with them. The countryside I do is not open to hounds due to the massive forestry blocks.Hounds would never bee seen again and due to hill sheep all over the area. The demon is sorting out the cooking of the kid goat so looking forward to that.
  21. After weeks of motor problems, ive at last got myself back on the road not having to be ducking and diving and avoiding the long and very reaching arm of the law,I had problems with the van and body rust, very sever rusting I might add and a few niggly mechanical problems, but all sorted now so first chance I got I headed out to get a kid goat or two if possible for the table.I reached the yard just before 8 a.m.and no sign of the farmer I headed off into the countryside that has become my own private amusement arcade,I took the easy route at first and up the paths along the side of the fields,t
