he had a good 2and a half 3 minutes tops,but over here where I run if he hasnt done the deed in a minute or two hes gone over the hill or through a hedge and you see feck all of it anyway,he took a good few hares but I dont have them in abundance like you guys,He did 3 in one day and I usually stop if he gets 2 ,i am not greedy,hes an all round banging about dog ,Hes over 8 yrs old now and I think hes starting to feel his age after a good gallop about...he was a sports dog more than an out and out hare dog but I didnt spare him either and he never held back,gave everything whatever he was on

yeah I agree,if it was my dog id be carrying him home on a pallet at 3.27 never mind 4.21 lol...and she did make short work of the hares in the other vids,I was going on the 7 minutes of running rather than the bitch,if a dog(any dog)ran 7 minutes from the starting point over here they'd be so far away youd need to get a car to find them,lol...as I said at the end,pity there had to be a looser in that race,two amazing animals .

thats some stamina packed animal,I reckon the hare gave up in the end,got sick of that furkin dog following it about,If you look at exactly 4 minutes 21,and stop the vid on that,look at the distance between the two adversaries,theres some distance between them,,,I was just talking to my lad and we reckon that couldnt work in our type of land,hed be gone through the hedge and into the distance and lost in no time...7minutes over here and theyd be in the next county,lol...what a fantastic athlete they both were,pity someone has to lose in such a battle

at least 2 years for me,no excuses then.... the dogs had lots of time to matureand if youve done yer job right,and put plenty of game in front of him of different varietys there should be no doubt in the end.I can live with a half decent dog,they dont all have to be ultimate killers and game collecters,if their honest and try their very best,then you cant ask a whole lot more,if they have their limitations and still have their uses then ,someone ,if not you can utilise their skills,but when they show they lack substance and courage,take them out of the equasion,put them to sleep and know youve

i look at it this way.if they wont do me they usually wont do others,,,....when you see 9 month oldpups with 3 owners allready,thats why I prefer to put them to sleep,shit life for a dog to be passed on so many times in such a short life
