  2. you can pick up well bred + excellent working dogs up for £200/250...........not knocking your dogs mate sure they will make good pups if you x them
  3. well done mate, thought the big one would be bit bigger than that by now?......
  4. like the black 1, they done much work
  5. ok UNFIT a think we all get the picture, you know everything there is to lurchers and you have more experience than anyother and you havent met a bull x up to standard in x amount of years. and i think i speak for everyone else on this thread when i say this............ FU.K OFF AND TAKE UR BULL SHIT ELSEWHERE MATE, BECAUSE NO 1 HAS GOT THE TIME FOR YOU, GOOD LUCK
  6. sorry but the people with bull x's get so much shit for having a bull x. end of the day they never go about slaging other x's off do they, they never go no to a saluki topic and start slating them saying they cant do foxes they are usless in my eyes etc etc do they. its the anti bull brigade on this site that want f.king booting off, because its you lot who cause all the sh.t..........all you anti's do is take pics of ur dogs on ur back gardens do you actually work them??
  7. and what way do you do things..................?? a good bull x will last a nights lamping and give 100% every run, like i said before they have got as good stamina as any other dog
  8. maybe its because most who own a bull x have the dog for a specific quarry.............and lets be right rabbit is not it! dont get me wrong people will run their bull x on rabbit but its not what they got it for is it?, if they where bothered about big bags of rabbits or hare im sure they would go for a dog better suited for the job, dont get me wrong a good bull x will catch maybe every running quarry available it wont excell in everything simply because i believe no dog can!. i dont know about any 1 else but rabbit for me is a quarry for the gun and the odd night for the dog. bull x
  9. nice dog mate, looks like he will be a tall'un

  11. how come the anti bull's always go back to the same question "can your bull x catch a hare on the fens or what ever!!?................maybe it wont catch good numbers of hare like a saluki x.......................but honestl how many of you with your saluki's can do 5/6 foxes a night maybe 3/4 nights a week? the saluki was bred for running hares on big land bull were bred for taking fox after fox landy's are made for off roading ferrari's are made for the road two different dogs made for different jobs and both of them excell at their jobs!
  12. very true lilpip1234!!, , its just you dont hear it going on as much with other breeds, an like you said "the fear factor" alot of people like the fact that a bull x is a hard dog......and i think that sells to a lot of people
  13. i am a big fan of the bull x, dont get me wrong!. and i do believe they are a great x. there is a lot of 50/50 x's that will be able to course a hare, i had one personally that took a good number of hare. there is a lot of heavy half x's but let be honest they are bred for a purpose and they do their job very well. also most of you who actually hunt fox will know they can turn just as good as a hareand also have a good turn of speed about them!. but a lot f bull x's going up for sale are just the scrap ends put together for the £££.............the good bull x's wont be for sale
  14. thats because twats keep breeding sh.t ass so called bull x's and trying to sell them on for the money, its like with films "sex sells", seems to be "anything with bull in it sells"
  15. bull/greyhoundx saluki/grehound/whippet/lurcher 22 1/2 tts look great turned out well ant they!!, not many saluki/bull x catch my eye but they do
  16. well done mate, smashin looking dog what x?

  18. a mate of mine has a saluki x greyhound 18months old. the dog is very sensitive i.e he's not very good with pain, not sayin he beats the dog or anything but if you knock him or if he nips his skin he dunt half yelp........ anyone else with this type of dog have the same problem?
  19. and bring a whole lot of attention to the dog scene :11: What do you mean "the dog scene" has owning a dog suddenly gone into the underworld ? Going to change my user name to The Dog farther! :11: :whistling: no but owning a hunting lurcher has! and lets b [bANNED TEXT] how much more attention does the fact that hunting with lurchers need?.............am sorry but its not exactly a sport loved by most is it............hence alot of banning. and yes rabbiting is legal but come on who the f,ck just hunts rabbit with their dog...........i personally just think that more attent
