    Huge thanks to Bill and his crew for putting on the racing for us. Also to the judges & stewards & crowd who stood in the pissin rain all day. i cant forget the donated gifts for the raffle & the people who helped make tea, supply food, set up rings etc. I can only put on the shows and try my best to get judges from all over. The lurcher judge from Fife & terrier judge from Cumbria have not been to a show in ten years but both kept working terriers & lurcher's for many years. The Jack judge flew in from Sweden & has kept working Jacks for more than 15 years. If

    Ive been asked to run the terrier & lurcher show once again for JRTCGB Scottish Region. As most of you know ive been out of the dog side for a while but if this show is not organised it will become another to fall by the wayside and no one wants this. The show will be held on Sunday 3rd May at Randolph Park Kirkcaldy at 1pm. Anyone wishing to assist please pm me as it is not easy trying to do it all.     Don't think there is going to be any racing held this year Ann. Usual terrier & lurcher classes will be held. Can I PLEASE ask that people DO NOT WHEELSPIN off the park as one did last year trying to show off. This stupidity almost stopped the show from being held again & spoiled an end to a great day.

    As I said on an earlier post on here. I had tried on numerous occasions to make contact with the organisers to no avail. When I did finally manage to talk to them they asked me to do a show at the last minute but would contribute nothing towards it. not even passes. How can they expect anyone to run a show at a loss before it starts. I hope they reconsider for next year as it is a good venue. Delboy.

    Can I point out to all that Galloway wanted me to put on a show at last minute after I had been trying for weeks to get a hold of them. They also wanted me to pay for everything, i.e. rosettes, prizes, trophies etc. which meant I would be running the show at a loss before I started. They did not want to give me free passes for people attending the show. I don't mind running a show and breaking even but to run one at a loss im afraid is a no go for me. Last year they paid for rosettes which helped. They also told me there was no parking facilities. I don't expect everyone to be hauling dogs

    I am sorry to inform everyone that this venue will not be held this year. I have been informed that due to lack of funding, there is to be no terrier or lurcher show but the game fair is still going ahead, Delboy.

    Due to work commitments I have had to cancel the Terrier and Lurcher show at the Fife hunt kennels this year but hope to be back stronger than ever next year, Delboy.
