  4. Hi Dan, Moose and Bear sounds like a nice combination - just to give you a flavour, this was me last night after an arduous evening 'Bunny Bashing'! I've a .22 rifle with a moderator that's ideal, plus an HW100 air rifle which is just as good! Hardly big game hunting but I thought it would give you a laugh! Hi I am sure it is easier to shoot a bear or moose than shooting fast runing bunnies . i remmember when i was young i had an anschutz 22lr and had realy fun with it. i have heared thay have reintorduced moose to Scotland. who knows maybe one day you need a good moose slayer in UK

  7. walked my dog to day an took the rifle with us and shot a couple of rabbits but one i got over a wall at just abought poit blank between the eyes and when i picked it up i could tell it was still breathing and mooving its nose so i had to break its neck i was just wondering if any one else has had out like this happen when shooting rabbits

  11. my dads got a hw 45 but he doesnt really use it for hunting apart from trapped rats

  17. ive used my uncles single shot hushpower with 3 inch subsonnic cartridges which he says are hold get hold of put thay are a hell of alot quieter than putting normal rounds through it they can take out rabbits at abought 30 yards like a normal 410 and the barrel might look like abit of drainpipe but it isnt as end heavy as you would think.] Hope this helps

  21. get a cheap muzzle break to fit on the end
  22. wont the noise of a shotgun scare everything away at night
