The maximum ftp for a rifle is 11.8, pistols around 5.5. Do not use a pistol on vermin unless shooting rats at very very close range. If you want something small go for a rat catcher around 8ftp you can then cut off the butt plate so ive been told. If you but the but pad off (back end of stock) that would make it into a pistol making it illegal

you want hollow points if your using it for vermin and in 22lr why not use subsonic were it will be alot quieter and spook less animals
