  1. mate no disrespect meant here ,but ive seen F1 mal prob lot more than you .ive seen them run over 2/3 seasons ,not just one but 4/5 dogs on everything . I did think at first you were the bloke who bred them and came on here under a different name again ,I know you have spoken to people who know him and who are his family ,what is it with these mal x and people who own them that they cant be straight about anything
  2. The ones I seen wouldn't fight to the death they all bayed at bucks and one even barked/bayed at a doe when it was on ground ,they all suppose to have taken fox I never seen them take a fox and the ones they coursed the fox turned once and the dog was 70 yards behind and it was goodnight ......
  3. They all take sheep everyone of them and they all lack bottle what I seen when I asked you before you said the 14 month old dog was bred in Hereford area now its kent????????????? How many times you seen this x run ?,,,as I could of swore at start you said you never seen them run or did you mean your mates dog ?????????
  4. these are same mal xs i seen ,what happened to Taser ?...so who bred the 14month dog he has now?
  5. don't want to turn this into a slagging match here ,but how many times you seen this Mal x run mate?....and why do you think their so special ?.. I seen them run for few seasons and at best thought this x is average .
  6. ask your mate for me and pm me mate if you would , ask him did 2 blokes come down for a morning hunting in the fog
  7. The dog your friend has now which you think has Saluki in it .who bred that?
  8. where did this Mal X come from ?Pm if you like .................i have seen 3/4 different Mal Xs run over 2/3 seasons and without getting into what I've wrote before wasn't impressed .
  9. Do you know every lurcher owners circumstances ?Dont know or care.I guessed that  But then again what i consider to be the average lurcher owner may be different to what you think 8dogs or less, the majority doing some kind of work with the odd oldie or pup thrown in the mix plus terrier/s I may have only 1 lurcher now but ive kept up to 13over the years plus horses and livestock so what does that prove keeping loads of lurchers? I can guarantee no more than 3 would of been working fit !!!!.....and by way you talk I doubt one was
  10. Do you know every lurcher owners circumstances ?Dont know or care. I guessed that
  11. Totally agree , and lets not forget the best type of fitness for a working dog is working ....but im looking at it more of an aid along with walking, ball work, pool, biking ,etc etc
  12. Hi mate do you rate them ?where did you get yours from ?
  13. How many different types of deer in Woburn abbey?..is it a good day out and don't mean hunting ......theres Pere David ,Reds and Axis deer from there to go with the fallow that's been there for hundreds of years in Margam park
  14. I've had a Dik Dik .....well run it over in bush in Kenya ....they seem to jump out of bush and on to dirt track and into lights as not just one did this but loads did on a short journey .....id say their smaller than muntjaks
  15. Ive been told a lot of deer are caught at night in the dark and not by light ,and some people use the moon in warm places ...how true this is I don't know
  16. at ten months............ seriously??? ive never even seen a sika never mind ran one lol but i always thought that if that stag can mate a red hind, then it might take a bit more than a ten month old lurcher pup to drop him??? im just showing mine a few rabbits by then, so can a dog really do a sika stag single handed untill you arrive on the scene at ten month old??? genuine question.........and if you got dogs that were able to, good on ya........... Personally I wouldn't doubt that a good, game ten month old could stop a sika stag......not that I would do it myself as, for my own do
  17. Sika .......5 runs single handed = 5stags .........puppy stuff
  18. your the man  you obviously dont know who iam ,...if you think darcy seen some gear ..........well i can assure you that i have ran thousands preban ,.........from muntjak too reds ,......from chinese too roe...........my whippet has took the lot ,..........once he gets in between the legs of any quarry there over and a neck hold is inevitable...........but if there not in season he turns a blind eye to them.............or saying that if there pregnant he knows and will come away...... never seen a better dog trip them over ,..........un believable until you see it......... hes y
  19. That's deep man lol. Does that apply to whats written on the hunting life though The hunting community more game killed on here than in field dogs than can do everything but drive a combine Just take it for what it is ,a bit of fun and banter
  20. So you've run plenty then? And you've had dogs that you trained to run past the does and yearlings to catch up with the bucks leading the charge? Or you've ignored the herds that fallow were in and gone out searching for the solitary bucks or the young bucks that hang about in 2's and 3's? Or you need to have a strong coffee and wake up from your dreams? Which is it? I know what your saying its pure crazy , to drive 2/3 hours each way,2/3 times a week, ,then to drive around looking for at most 6 runs on bucks .ignoring hundreds sometimes of Does ,Then when you find a buck , clever f***
  21. who said anything about trained to go past the Does ?but ignoring herds ,that's not so hard to do ., just because you haven't done something or seen it don't mean it cant or don't get done
