I guess you wasnt on the Salford housing estates Charts has mentioned the difference when the council knocked up the estates it was luxury ive heard similar loads sold or were later made to sell and got council houses

My grandma was born in a workhouse my mother a house bought in her 20s before selling it getting a council house bigger and better bought that 4 sisters 3 with there own house one in council.house still mate your mistaking me with people about you

Early 70 Houses were 11 hundred quid mortgage was 2 pound 50 a week paid in ten year You had a 2 up.2 down run down and they offer to buy it give you a brand new house all mod cons in exchange yours and its for life loads did it mate
