  1. Some vets tell you 9 weeks, it might have something to do with what the manufacturer recomends. The jabs I use says on the box from 6 weeks of age, so thats when i use them. The sooner you can get them into the system of your pups the sooner the antibodies can develop and resistance is formed. I would say though,as with ALL veterinary products or medicine. Always follow the instructions on the box from the manufacturer, dont just go with what you think, after all, they made the stuff and tested it, so they would know more about it than the vets would I imagine. Also the type i tend to

  4. First observation is KEEP BOTH, and get something else in between as well, but lets assume there is a good reason why two will have to go and be replaced by one. Do you reload? If so pretty much whatever you want! If not get a .243, and quite probably get a .243 anyway!! Thanks for your reply, firstly No i dont reload, i often thought about it, but being a lazy gitt, thought it too complicated, although i have seen the benefits of homeload accuracy. Secondly , my issuing force is Dyfed Powys Police, they wouldn't give you the steam of their shit let alone another rifle in betw

  8. A suggestion to all members on here, most it doesnt apply to, but to some it may, no names no pack number, but if the shit fits wear it. Before anyone flexes their index finger muscles and starts to type about certain individuals in the dog world, and accusing them of this or that ask yourself this question before you start to type. If that man was stood in front of you, would you have the balls to say to his face what you are about to write?, if the answer is yes, then type away. If the answer is no, then put the keyboard away and crawl back under the stone you came out from.

Jack the ripper and Fred West were both ladies men mate, f**k all clever about them either.
  15. I had thought of .270, but what experience i have, there is a hell of a bang, heavy recoil, ammo is expensive and dont seem to be that popular??!!. Is there a reason for this ??, dont know, i had thought of a 22.250, perfect for vermin, and yes, will take care of deer if taken in the right spot, but, correct me if i'm wrong here, are not suitable muzzle velocity or whatever it is they measure leagal deer calibres by these days. So i still dont know. Toads ,you have pm.
  16. I have at present a rimfire, a .222 and a .308 on my ticket. I am seriously thinking of getting rid of the .308 and .222 and getting one rifle to replace the two. What sensible suggestions are there as to what calibre i should change to for both fox control and stalking? Along the lines of a .243 / .247, big enough to stalk, and sensible enough for fox control. Whaddya reckon gentlemen?

  21. I was lost for words when Sam Warburton (the Wales Captain) dedicated the Welsh win over Samoa to the families of the Mining disaster omn Saturday, it was a very generous and decent thing to do, I hope all the families of the lost gained strength from the fact that they are being remebered and honoured on the other side of the world by our own. Top marks for the win lads, but for what you said in your post match interview Captain, truly priceless. Thank you. :notworthy:
