hi cheers for the comments had him to the vets he said hes got fluid on his lungs plus a dodgy heart vet put the stethascope next to his chest and couldnt hear his heartbeat cos all the fluid around his heart and lungs gave him injections plus antibiotics and got to go back tomorrow for more you wont believe how much its cost me up to now but hes the best worker i have so i had to fork out still might not make it but i have give him a chance i dont give my ferrets that many chicks just now and again cheers anyway will let you know how he gets on thanks

hes not panting just taking quick breaths with mouth shut he will eat the eggs and day old chicks but his dry food can be there for over a day cheers he suffers alot with blocked anal glands but the vet sorts that out free of charge cheers

hi all i have a 6 year old polecat hob he has lost a lot of weight could be because the breeding season he does it every year around this time but hes gone really thin he doesnt eat a lot but does drink a lot tried to get him in to vets tonight but no chance so it is tomorrow he has bred once this year but could it be just old age and also he is breathing very quickly any ideas cheers hope you can help

dog ferret means its a male ferret and jill means its a female lamp means exactly what it says but a bigger version of a torch used for hunting quarry cheers

hi mine eat raw chicken /ofal /even pigs heads now and again tripe almost anything at the moment they are on cooked chicken /veg and wholemeal bread cheers

hi mate mine get cooked chicken from a supplier liquidised veg and wholemeal bread they love it wont touch dried food usually they eat ofel cheers
