  4. he has the face markings of a euro polecat and from what u said about drinking and eating could be i think he is a hybrid ferret x polecat myself aqnd if u can handal him hes not that wild cheers mate i know what you're saying but is that only because i have been handling everyday since because when i go to his hutch he's out of his sleeping area abit but as soon as i go near he shoots right back in cheers mate
  5. hi i have held him and touched his foot he doesn't pull it back or anything and the reason i think it could be wild or semi is that when my mate first caught it which is nearly 2 weeks ago it was snarling at him and very scared but i've been handling him everyday since, its still abit scared and nervous cheers
  6. the thing is im not bothered really if its wild or not my only concern is that the ferret is not in any pain if its ok i will keep it and eventually will try and breed off it and then try and work it but all the vet wants is money off you even though i spent 90 quid at my vets 3 weeks ago for treatment on my 6 year old polecat hob cheers mate

  11. vets are obligated to treat it if it was a wild animal! at no cost to you! i remember hearing about it just before 'SVS' became 'animal health' when i asked my own vet they said i would have to pay for a consultation fee which could be anything from £18 /£25 your guess is as good as mine cheers mate
