    hi mate never had to myself why not try a cotton bud dipped in warm water but make sure you dont go too far in can cause more damage than good cheers

    hi mate do what i did just tell a little lie go to the land owner or phone him and tell him you was walking with your dog which is ie terrier dont mention lurcher at the moment and your dog got hold of a few rats pending whereit is maybe a ditch or brook or if he has sheep your terrier brought a fox down near his land and was just wondering if he has any trouble with such vermin then move on from there it worked for me hope i have helped cheers

    cheers lads all told i have 2 mk1 locators and 6 collars all told cost me 100 quid cant get hold of them easily so will be keeping them for now a friend helped me out with a collar for free on the forum cheers for that
