i have an ultra.177 and a falcon fn19 .22 the both have silencers with a half inch unf thread. so i took the parkerhale silencer off the falcon and put it on the ultra! its now much quieter however i wsnt shure if it was ok to shoot with the silencer off the .22 on the .177. is this ok?? cheers Fn

andy, this has happend to me before. i just used insulation tape to pack it in between the scope tube and the mount!! give it a go, hope it works for you all the best

i seen a programme once with gordon ramsay on it and i swear he was on about eatinc crows and rooks and watever!! apparently there a delicacy in sum japanese place or something! :sick: wouldnt catch me eating one mind!!!

Afraid I cant help you with the ferrets, I just shoot them, mostly with the .410 and now with the rimmy. If you need a hand give us a shout not far from you at all. SS this particular piece of land is surrounded by houses therefore ruling out the use of the rimmy and the .410 and any other shotgun. also there sre horses in the field pretty much all the time, they don't mind the airrifle but i don't think theyd be to happy about the shotgun or the rimmy!! i have the deben max 400m, and id say its a bloody good lamp!! you can use it yourself by clipping it onto your scope or do as i did and buy the handle for about £20 and turn it into a hand held lamp!! its helped me get many a fox/rabbit e.t.c! hope this helped mate!! all the best!

down by newport pembs. im looking for someone to come and help me with a few rabbits with some fferets. ive been down there and shot a few with the air rifle but i just can't shoot enough of the little buggers! any offers?? atb

i don't live far ffrom aberaeron, i live in nevern, wich is between fishguard and cardigan. i have thousands of acres to shoot on!!! ive never had a problem! but i guess im lucky!!

devvo, what gun do you have?? i have a falcon pre charged air rifle and i often put pellets in it and i just shoot them out, im shure you could do this with most spring air rifles. however if its underpowered and cannot push them out i'd take it to your local gun shop and see what they can do hope this helps atb rhys

that sounds like a bargain for the s410!! i would buy that!! its a very good gun, nice and light and very accurate!! as for the crossman, its good for rats as you could probably tell from the name but it lacks the power to use for killing rabbtis, it could also be use 2 shoot feral pidgeons i suppose!! hope that haelped atb rhys

when the river is in flood try using a blue and silver rapala size7 ive had a few on that! also try using mepps size 2 or 3 in any of the colours. if none of thesework then try a flying C, they seem to work everywere else but not on the river i fish!!
