    I passed it last year but it was throwing it down so I didn't stop, do you know the dates of the Championships this year. i'm there from 6th August to around the 28th and would like to have a look..

    Racers where met today by glorious sunshine. it was nice to see John back at the club with Lady after moving house it was also nice to see new people Stuart joining us again with his pup. it was realy nice to see Andrea at the club again for a visit with her 2 dogs. Patricks, Julies & Lesleys pups are all coming along nicely and are chaseing the lure very keenly. our pup Honey had her 1st outing today to have a look around and enjoyed playing with the lure. Some very good racing today again with some very close finish's which is realy making for good racing to watch. A

    if you ask any IG owner/breeder they will all tell you they are almost imposible to 100% house train, it's an accepted problem with the breed as is broken legs.

    Dogs we own/bred have won at racing/live coursing/lure coursing/showing. unfortunatly we only managed to get into a hare coursing club in the final 12 months before the *** but 2 dogs we bred won 2 stakes (1 x 16 dog, 1 x 8 dog)

    Hi Pal, Whippets are great day/night rabbit dogs up untill the *** I coursed with East Anglia Whippet Coursing Club, although whippets put up a great desplay there not natural daytime hare dogs by any means, they'll take them on the lamp easy enough but compared to a whippet/greyhound, Saluki /greyhound they are left wanting. but as a rabbit/ratting dog they are hard to beat

    Members where met today by ground that was as near perfect as you could ever ask for to race on, the weather although slightly over cast was warm & dry. Only 9 racing & 5 trialing today due to bitch's in season and members being away. Congratulations to todays line Judge Paul on his excelant line judging as many of the races had less than 1l seperating all the dogs on the line. nice to see Geordies bitch clear today for racing with flying colours, thanks to all members for making their dogs available for trials. Todays racing was over 160yds @ 1/2 yd/lb as always run

    What a differance a week makes, last week we had blue skys and were all walking about in T shirts, this week it was back to rain coats and wellies. Some good racing again today, Geordies bitch had a few proving trials and looks like she'll clear next week without any problem. the new pups at the club are coming along well in their early hand slips. We had a strange visitor to the club today in the form of a Stoat who kept coming out of a stone wall to watch what we were doing. Todays racing was over 170yds @ yd/lb on Club Hcp HEAT 1 1st ~ Pennymeadow Pepe (1yd) 2nd
