got to disagree im not talking about the handler doesnt matter what experience the handler has its how the horse is taught from a young age and how its swung (halter broken) when first taken from the mare youv got to drill it into them when they feel that tension on there nose from the halter it means they carnt go no further end of the day there cobs not ragged thoroghbreds.

hes by one of the harkers stallions his mother was bought in sale late last summer after running with the stallion all summer the two foal off the mare one a colt the other a filly was the highest selling foals in the sale two years running.

a friend of mine has ahd a few x racers when he hasnt had a lurcher to run on some took foxes probably cause theyd never seen the sharp end before but some jacked once they saw it i rember a big black bitch he had went lamping one night caught a fox she got bit after that she used to kill them time and time again talk about fast she was fast guy said she kept getting disqualified for cutting other dogs up how true this is i dont know i dont know bout greyhound racing she went on to take deer hare foxes amongst other things if shed off been a lurcher shed of been a good un just didint retrieve

anybody know were i will pick a cloth lined full collar up with hames and traces bout 21 orn 22 inch dont want a hard one as they rubb tooo much or how much the collars are new.

haha did you hear the women. silly collie the deer would soon be in trouble if it tryed that with my lurcher or any half decent dog that could stand up for itself. -
i used to drive the fields but my license is too valuable and who wants to get pulled and chased all the time and i never broke fences or stole from farms.i like walking the land anyway and squeeking the foxes in alriight you done cover half the land but we cover a fair bit driving from spot to spot and you get to see the dog run not open the door for a first x to show what it can do. dancesand same ill have a walk out wi you one time if the offers open

i was lamping bout 4 or 5 years ago drove through a church yard to the otherside as the fields are surrounded by houses its the only way on buy car good for foxes there lamping away put the lamp across a small paddock when it lite up a body on the floor we thought it was dead definatly nacked anyway turned lamp off as we shit ourselves at first. after been egged on to turn the lamp onbut a couple of lads that were in the motor i did it was only a man an a women bollock nacked going at it in the field lol she had a nice rack on her as well lol

bullshit ( im probably goona get hung for saying this lol) i have to disagree a beddy x will do what a wheaton cross will do it same as the old argument a wheaton x is as good as bull x the foundation dogs that are used in the breeding are bred over years for diffrent jobs i.e. the beddy was used for vermin control ratting digging. the wheaton was used for drawing and got penalised if he made a sound whilst doing his job so is mute and bulls were bred for fighting iv seen both work and beddy xs can dog the job iv got one myself but wheaton xs are a diffrent kettle of fish iv seen my mate runs

no i havent sold my couloured cob yet p***y boy alot of messers and day trippers dont know a driving cob wi heart when they see one anyway gonna get him cut he will be my little wagon horse for appelby next year mate.

i drive horses cobs mainly but have drove trotters and standardbred pacers never road raced or raced on a track though not my thing.

its not just lamping and coarsing and such its about importing for the pet trade aswell. end of the day lads i was sat in the pub at the weekend with my mates one of them has met a new bird who lives in thesticks her dad trains horses they go hunting he said they went mental at him the other day when he started banging on how cruel it is so the people who matter still support it.
