    Cheers mate I've stopped snaring hares now till September to allow them to breed up and also don't kill any carrying young. Come September I will take a few just for the table?

    They are light but yes they do the job,carrying a few BGS and stabilisers can get a bit heavy ?

    Like this you mean? This one was neck snared but got wrapped up in the wire

    It's when a rabbit as got caught in a snare and starts dancing round it becomes tangled up in the wire,there isn't anything you can do to stop it,it's like a rabbit caught on a fence they dance around and tangle and wrap themselves up around the fence

    Yes mate I targeted the hares,the snares are the same ones you would use for rabbits on the open runs set the wire a bit higher then you would for a rabbit,these where set at 8-9inches,the fence snares were set just as you would for rabbit allow a gap at the bottom of snare just so hare can get its feet through and it's head goes in the snare

    You've only got to buy them once and you get years of service out of them,plus the 116s can be used for rabbits as well as rats unlike a breakback so if you buy breakbacks and then you fancy a go at rabbit trapping you've got to spend more money

    Cheers mate the 55s are a handy little trap for rats these where set in a calf shed,some on the ground uptight againest a wall and a couple on the over head beams

    Very nice trap these bodygrips I use them for rabbits and rats NB ALL TRAPS SET IN CUBBIES WHICH WHERE REMOVED FOR PHOTO PURPOSES Just to keep the hunting life PC happy?
