    had a go with one.....nice gun, well made etc but its missing something......hard to put your finger on........just dosnt do it like other guns do. just felt a bit remote from it..........if you know what i mean they always seem to take a while to sell and presumably for less than the asking price

    theres a good book called "silent spring" HERE story of pesticides effects on birds.....it led to the banning of DDT in the states worth a read

    pesticides have played a big part in it aswell......killing insects etc.....it removes a vital part of the food chain we used to get flocks of finches.....in their hundreds...........lucky if you see more than a handful now but without doubt...the grey has played its own part in the demise of the song bird, but it is down to several factors....but hopefully it can be turned around

    s440 = single shot s410 = multi shot you can convert an s400 to multi shot ( rowan engineering) but the mag dosnt index automaticaly.......you have to thumb it round maunaly. not sure of the price difference.........but i would choose a multishot for hunting
