    out the other day to checks some dens . checked the first spot nothing was home then went to check anouther but walked in a diffrent root from normal, and droped on a new den dogs markede it up okay so fired in the terrier 30seconds later dog was baying after a little while all setteled up in a block end about 3 foot sweet easy dig dug on to it and dipatched it with a .22 rimfire not a bad afternoon went to anouther den and bolted a fox there but alas could not get a shot at it as it ran down a ditch and we were stuck under a tree stump listening to the row going on in the den

    had my first in the middle of sept up to plus now starting to treat them like vermin now doing a lot of dammage to winter crops that are just coming through. but they do make taste burgers and mince lol

    not a bad day that alimac had a go about a month ago on a sunday afternoon and got just short of the 100 but then had to go and feed the birds

    i use flubenvet to worm my birds dose nearly all the worms including gape worm. can buy it in feed already or get what they call a keepers pack. can get it from most keepering suppliers

    lot of late broods about around here not the best to pluck as like hedgehogs and not very fat. wont bother to look for a duck till the gesse come in so usaly wait till the 1st of october and hope fully get a pinky and a few mallard

    still no luck yet with gunner grove? some will take it surley. how is the lamb doing is it fat enough yet lol just a thought since we got a mincer now and how are all the chickens and the cornell is he still top cocl lol

    depends what you are lamping if your at rabbits at 30 to 50 yard then it would do but if for fox at long range waste of time i would by a light force and get the fitting that has roof mounted suction pads so can lamp out of window.

    out again last night 72 rabbits and one cub lurcher did 20 rabbits and shot the rest and also shot the the cub all with the 177hmr

    two ways of looking at it i personaly used to go out my way to shoot these things a they stand out like a soar thumb and attract unwanted attention from poachers or even people wanting to look at them and second we wanted to keep a even stock of coloured fallow and didnt want them in the gene pool it was a sporting esttae not a zoo. so yes kill the bloody things they are just like white pheasants a pain in the arse

    the rabbits arnt for human consumption i sell them to feed the animals at the local zoo they want them with guts in but by hanging like this helps bto drain the bladder. use the truck to carry the bunnies save a lot of back bracking lol

    £3.30 if there 1500 selling for more then that up here ladie down the road i heard was charging 3.95 robbing gets. but now there is a shortage with the floods bet they will be selling for more now?

    out last night lamping rabbits ran the lurcher on some and shot some ended up with 62 then went to a field 500 yards from one of my release pens and seen 6 big cubs shot a couple and sent the dog to retrive them kids were happy and i was prity chuffed two. have to go out tonight again as birds going in to that pen in 10 days time

    a mate of mine had two once said they lacked the go he needed, fine for rabbit but still didnt have the drive he was looking for this was twenty years ago.when i asked him what happened to them he said they both ended up on a muck heep!!!!!!!!!!!

    if you make a frame and gate make sure you put a bit of mesh at the top of the frame so the birds dont lfly up and sit on the frame they see it as a purch fly up then they fly back down on the other side and they are out of the pen so the mesh stops them and keeps them in the pen till your ready to let them out .
