    Ha ha I'm not very good at all this computer malarkey lol wish my photobucket was working can't upload new pics. I've found a pic of a 202 with mod and front site. I've been led to believe an ase ultra sl5 will be best bet

    I've regretted the day ever since I sold my f t baker 10 bore hammer was such a lovely gun 32 inch brown Damascus barrels thing is with a 10 they very rarely come out of the cabinet. I would like to get an English magnum side by side with prince of Wales stock but also toying with the idea of modern over and under.

    Hi all what guns do you use for wildfowling? Pics would be great and if you state barrel length and chamber length what non toxic shells you prefer and sizes etc I've been out of the game for about 6 years now used to use an f t baker 10 bore 32 inch barrels 3 inch chamber gamebore no 1s for geese tungsten matrix and 12bore aya no 3 28 inch barrel 3 inch chamber used various different cartridges. Looking at getting back into wildfowling but want a gun I can use as an all rounder

    What side by sides are steel proof then? Only thing with them though is fixed choke ate?

    Not really wanting a 10 bore any more mate I shot with an ft baker hammer gun for years. Would prefer an all rounder gun that I can use for everything can't justify having a 10 bore sitting in cabinet for the marsh. Most of my duck and goose shooting will be inland over flight ponds but have always fancied taking a trip in Scotland and was thinking maybe be it would be wiser to get 3.5 chamber. Surely steel is the way forward? 25 tungsten cartridges are like 30 quid now

    Well there is a few over and indeed about with 3.5 chamber. I'm used to shooting side by side with tungsten matrix and bismuth but it cost a ridiculous amount now n was wanting a steel proofed gun the browning 425 waterfowl has both 3.5 and 3 inch varietys but was wondering other people opinion on whether the extra half inch make much of a difference??

    Right people I'm looking at getting an over and under 12 bore to use as an all rounder and fair bit of wildfowling and wondering what guns you use? And also is there much point in a 3.5 inch chamber or will 3 inch be more than enough?

    Oh yeah forgot to mention opposite my work there's a brewery and on my lunch noticed a chap was outside cleaning ally barrels with pressure washer spoke to him to see if he would mind giving my munty skull a quick spray up n he was happy to help his pressure washer go's to a really high temperature as well so know where to go next time

    Yeah will do waiting my mrs's hairdresser to sort me out some 40% stuff should be a lot better than the stuff I used 1st time round think it was only 7%

    Cheers mate yeah think your right shame though coz rather like it with it. You've got a 202 ain't ya? Heads nearly done gotta get some forceps in nasal cavity get last few bits of crap out but looking good.

    Butchered him about 10 this morning and stripped and boiled the head already still gotta a bit more cleaning. Always struggle getting all the brain and tissue out and the nasal cavity. Will post pic once it's done it's no medal head but I like to practise so when I finally get a decent one I don't muck it up

    Decided last night that this morning is try for a muntjac or a fallow pricket from my new high seat alarm was set for 5.oclock got up and dressed had a quick cuppa coffee and set off for the high seat was about 5.35 by the time I was sitting in the seat wasn't there 2 mins and could see a munty buck grazing as he crossed from the right hand side of the meadow to left along the ditch that devises the chicken farm with my permission but he was on a mission whistled him twice but wasn't gonna stop and he made off in the shadows. Was thinking I'd missed what possibly could of been my only opportun

    Oh right do they mate a big difference then has anyone got any pics of their muntjac heads?

    Defo needs a few extra things doing to it but in the end it will be a lot more comfortable
