Thanks very much for the replys there most appreciated :-) that's not me holding the rats it's my mate Andy who I go hunting with I'm like you iI don't like touching rats either lol, Yes the rfle is a theoben fenman that also belongs to my mate on that night we had 3 air rifles with us a air arms s410, theoben rapid mk2 and the fenman that is me in the pic though holding the fenman I just nicked his rifle for a minuet to get my picture taken got to be honest though it's a lovely accurate rifle.

Just a quick pick of some of the rats we got just before Christmas some where shot and some where taken by our terriers by the end of the day we had 109 rats, I've never seen as many rats on a farm ever, when the farmer was lifting the old bails for u's on the telehandler there was atleast 20 at a time running from underneath them, we also shot another 70/80 a week after on the lamp in one night. Then a couple of weeks after that the farmer said he had a problem with some feral pigeons on his other farm and would we sort them for him sure enough we went up and it was alive with them we manage

I have a rapid mk2 .22 which I use for rats and pigeons it's excellent for this job as where I shoot there are 100's of rats and on the other farm there are alot of pigeons the rapid comes in handy here because it gives you a massive amount of shots per charge. I also have a air arms s400 .177 which I use for rabbits and this is also a excellent rifle, very accurate and very light for when your out mooching all day. Two very diffrent rifles but both excellent
