my 11months beddy lurcher has only caught 2 rabbits, both on seperate occassions but both rabbits have been killed and bruised and not retrieved. once hes did his lap of honour around the field he drops the rabbit about 20yds from me and sits beside it. does he do this cause hes young or will he always do this, i thought that when he starts getting a few rabbits in one session this mite change?? any advicde please thanks frazer

it feels good when he gets the first, mine is 11months and has caught 2, unfortunatly both have been returned dead and bruised

i work in a butchers and we are only to happy to get rid of bones and scrap meat. thats all i feed my dogs is meat. i personnaly dont add anything like veg or rice and ive been doin this for a year now and the dog is all the better for it. the way i look at it is that a dog doesnt eat boiled veg and rice in the wild or gravy or cooked meat so why should it eat it just because just because its in a cage or in a house. this is my opinion, others will think differently

someone once told me that if his dog does something once, he'l give it another chance, but if it did it again then it would go. personally if i get a dog i think id have it for life. not unless something seriously wrong was wrong with it

i read some of the second link but there was 35 pages on it. if its plain clothed folk policing this id tell them were to go if they questioned me. and im sure that some peole would do a lot more than just tell them were to go. also does this mean the dangerous dogs act 1991 will be changed? dogman

some of it i agree with and some i dont. like the part about increasing fines and sentences for abuse or neglect and increasing the level of canine awareness to dog owners. i dont like the part of being asked questions about dog behaviour. could this law not also help get some of the dogs that prats are running around with of the streets and using as weapons? is this law for the whole of britain or is northern ireland excluded? its all a bit confusing so it is dogman

i need to build two kennels. i was just wondering what people thought of brick kennels? does anyone else use these? i was thinking of building them with breeze blocks and the lining the inside with wood? anyone have any advice?? thanks dogman
