just take it slowly it may have been hung up as a pup & have a lack of confidence,ifyou can get afew batton sscrew them to the run doorway or gateposts so everytime it goes in or out it has to jump & your there giving the command & praise as it does so, start low & add another batton every couple of days it wont take long & it will forget any bad association hope this helps Pritch

simple no they would'nt some runs last 5 or more mins most dogs dont get half that time before a hare is lost but thats why we all have different sizes & types of dog dependent on type of quarry & land we run.

fact you can breed from shite & get a worldbeater & breed from world beaters & get shite but the odds are much more in your favour if you use good stuff so why take the chance plus you've got to get rid of the rest of the litter can't see em beating a path to your door for pups of that breeding never mind 1 parent has never worked -
