They were ok, the 3/8 was a bit sharper with dogs, as long as they left him him alone he was ok. As i said all dogs are different, i got a 1x collie grey pup now he is 23ins and 52lb [7months old] he is a big pup, he will be a strong dog when he grows up. Some colliexs can be nasty feckers aswell. Any lurcher over 55lb , can do damage. Bullxs are powerfull dogs yes, so are coursing greyhounds when they kick off, the damage they do is unbelievable BIRD i know you can get bad uns in all x's i've seen a few nowty collie x's

bang on nice to hear a bit of sence how good a dog is has a lot to do with how much game it see's but if you dog gets you out & gives enjoyment then happy days its all this 3 out of 3, 20 rabbits a night shit that has the shelters full of lurchers theyall think they've got a duckegg instead of a golden egg & get shut just keep gtting out & enjoy it ATB Pritch

there's always been loads up brindle but i dont think there is as many as in the late 80s early 90s i certainly dont see as many as i did,there's loads pf places that used to hold hares that dont now & those that do dont hold as many used to they've been declining long before the ban. ATB Pritch

the dog isnt to young but maybe you are turning it in to a tug of war, Instead of grabbing whatever he has retrieved place thumb & a finger at each side of the back of his mouth, increasing the pressure until his mouth opens releasing the object [telling the dog to leave all the time you are applying pressure] as soon as he drops it lavish praise or a snack or both.just make sure you dont apply to much pressure it should be uncomfortable rather than painful try it 2 or 3 times & leave it for a few hours then try it again pups are never to young to learn.hope this is of some use ATB P

same problem mixy found all over were i hunt from September to January it decimated the rabbit population around south west lancs.you must be lucky snoop as i spent 3 hrs on the the lamp & didn't see 20 never mind get 20 runs its piss poor round here never known it so bad ATB Pritch
