To me mate you sound like an antie if you cant grasp what i want them for. i agree mate, theres a lot of idiots on this site who clearly dont even own terriers, so why are they on the earthdogs page. yes you may have a point. i can tell ye lads hepher is not an anti. i was out a while back with an old time terrier man who told me he crossed weathen with one of his fells years ago and they came good.

i have had and seen some good russels work if you know were to look their around.i worked one last season who was put in some testing earths and could do the time a very good fox dog i would do anything to have him back we dug him week in week out.so take your time with him if his bred right he will go when the time is right. -

ya that the one you had on trail and sent back had 6/7 dig's since he mustnt have liked me because he falied to dig 3 earths the day i had him but these were big earths not pup earths at .7 or .8 smart boy ya right come down i dig the dog anywhere you want i go to you even , don't bother me , i trust a dog or my dog did you check with another dog to be sure no and you told no , so don't fault my dog, sounder your the man geting smart i asked you was that the dog i had.you had to get smart about it yes i dug one of earths with a young dog .it says alot to me you have dug the

No mate i breed the pups my self but the dam was bred by pickaxe and the dog wasDR breeding in it Good luck with them mate, hope they become what you need cheers pickaxe hope so my self pups looking good. -
its a hard one answer i have had a few that i was very happy with and alot that i wasnt.its all about bringing on the right stuff and geting out their and trying them.their are alot that dont make it trust me scent i have had my fair share of bad ones but not for long as for buying 100 per cent working dogs it dosent happen.

what type bitch was he mated to -
have done it a few times when i had no other choice when the grey box failed.but to do it in windy wet weather would not be easy.i wouldnt feel 100 per cent safe puting a dog into an earth without a locator but if his in their and something goes wrong with the box then i have no choice but to try.and the few times that it has i have found him with a bit of luck.

nice one lads thats what terrier work is all about knowing that your with a good group of lads is important i know i would do the same for any of my digging mates day or night and they would do the same for me.if they didnt i wouldnt be digging with them

i was in a maplands store yestrday and they had a good selction of batterys that would be suitable for lamping and they were cheap thats were i will be geting my next battery for lamping alot of diffrent sizes

was out walking young dogs one day around cover and a 8 mounth old dog pup covered my mates young bitch.stairght to the vets he went with the bitch for the injection thank f**k it worked.so around that age but that was only a mistake.if i was you i wouldnt be in a rush to use a young dog.
