  2. i dont no if this is applicable but a number of years ago i collected a spayed jill from the ferret rescue in llangyfelach just outside swansea south wales they insisted that they would arrange for her to be spayed by a local vet that they always used for two reasons one was the cost the other was that the inoculations given by some vets were based on dog distemper derived drugs not suitable for ferrets some 6 weeks before i had a jill spayed and inoculated when i collected her she was very groggy and never recovered she was fine when i took her in however the little jill from the ferr

  7. i have super 10 carbine with out doubt the best think since sliced bread exelent consistant power nocks rabbits over totaly consistantly remove volumetric silencer replace with 1/2inch unf adaptor and screw on weihrauch silencer this will give you a very quiet gun still very short that can be used easily from in side vehicle without any gun protuding outside can also be carried tight along side of leg when walking barrel clear of the ground one handed when you dont want the gun to be seen approx 200 shots per fill i carry a spare bottle whilst shoot this giving at least 400shots tha
  8. remember not to set to close to hedges check ground in daylight remove any thing likely to tangle your nets check your route bring the last 3_4mts of net back on its self toward the centre approx 45deg to form an end stopper it goes without saying keep it quiet and if possible drive rabbits down hill very best of luck if it works for you it becomes addictive practice make make perfect but none are that not yet any way

  13. while sat here on laptop watching tv [ animal planet ] showing the woverine now that has just got to be the ultimate ferret cross on a good day out with one of these you could pop out in the morning and use it to get you a salmon from the river dry it off and have a wander through the woods were squirrels 'rabbits ,deer ,foxes could be on the menu by the way they may also eat dogs, cats or anything they can get their teeth into however this is only a small thing when you consider the up side of this cross please let me know when you achive this cross as i would be interested

  19. i am with you reguardless of the crap they publish an awfull lot of people still purchase these mags and they are a window into the world of shooting they may only scratch the surface but some times this can be a good thing we must also remember there readers can be an asset and as they are easy to poll there comments can be read by all and there support is useful when it comes up against the anti,s

  22. Too right! There's nothing wrong with the good old 'Council Pop'! i am told some people have even been known to put it in whisky but have never been tempted both taste fine on there own water from the tap whisky from the bottle
