  1. Cheers for that, they are 8 weeks this week end and ready to go. Flesh fed and full of life. Wormed and spot on'd to date.
  2. Use 247spares.co.uk, they deliver to the door, don't take the first price the different breakers give you take the company details and price of the Box and ring them back and haggle, you will get the VAT off usually. There is a VW breakers Lancashire way but I can not remember the telephone No. and I won't be back to work until next monday. Good luck
  3. trust no one

    1. KAKA

      KAKA

the best saying i have heard on this site

  4. We need to stay together even more, the Police monitor our website so be extra carefull what you post in text and picture format. Good luck with the docked dogs only show.
  5. Welcome to the hunting life

  6. Good luck with your Pups, the old fella had a dog of your breeding 40 years ago, she lost a leg in a gin trap at 18 month old but could still catch Rabbits and would fight the dog world twice a day, she was a lovely dog around the house and lived until fourteen and had a full and sporting life.
  7. Gateshead Lads get a nose bleed when they cross the Tyne, maybe because they used to be in Co. Durham land of the Makems.
  8. My old Saluki cross who now has the Life of Riley in front of my mates Mum's Fire was an absolute dream to work, always alert but sometimes Moody. When she wanted to catch she was an absolute Flyer when she could'nt be bothered was an absulute Snail. She always wanted to be in control of the situation and would never run tight in Rabbits that she knew would be a waste of her time. Mind when something was there to catch she would never give it up but she was very obvious in her ways that she was in control. I go to see her every week and she does'nt even get up from the Bed in front of the Fir
  9. Good luck with the Greyhound, feed him well and get him some field craft over the summer and he will perform for you, one of the best dogs I have had was an Ex track bitch and she would give her all but she cost me s fortune on sow ups at the vet.
  10. As long as she does the job you want her for she will be the dog for you, good luck with her. For the Huntaways, they have poor hips howl for England? oh and New Zealand, they will go all day every day and never come back so why you would want a one in a Lurcher takes a lot of Fathoming out. I forgot to say the gene pool is poor in the U.K. also.
  11. Is it just me or is the northern part of our country, Keano and the scottish lads included just that bit more honest about what the dog can do or has done? I have bred a few BeddyXGreyhounds and X Whippets in the past and one thing with them is they will give their all. Good luck with your young dog....
  12. Pups looking good, the one we kept is about 20" to the shoulder and looking really leggy, he is superb to have around and when you go for a mooch he is on the lookout all the time. I will try and get a picture up for you. The Sire from these pups is away to be a Stud dog in Durham as I was getting grief about the number of dogs I had, so if anybody wants to use him PM me and I will give you the lads number.
  13. I've had breaks on a Collie X Greyhound and a Whippet, both went to pet homes after paying a lot of money. The collieX even went further and ripped all the muscle from her elbow on her front leg and the Vet took another £2000 to repair that I think it depends a lot on age and the individual as to whether its a repair or not.
  14. Just a quick note I had the Law ring me at work saying a mobile tyre firm in the North East are going around Slashing Tyre's?? Could they be operating on the other side of the country also, just a thought. I do know from the current trade in tyres that people are running them to the bone and some firms are struggling for sales.
  15. Ford's new Kuga AWD great on the road handles like a sports hatch, make sure you have the correct tyres on it for the job, get the 140BHP diesel. You will get the Titanium X for £20,000. Drives like a dream and plenty room for you the Mrs and the Baby, and if your good Lady has Twins it will accommodate, them also.
  16. That maybe a little to far for a Sunday Jaunt.
  17. Alnwick, Northumberland Four feet high, Three feet wide and Six feet long Ferret Hutch with two Jill ferrets for sale. £30 Two separate levels and a good strong built Hutch. 19. Well read by the reply, not. Good luck with the sale of your Terrier Box.
  20. Done we need to stick together even more and support what we do.
  21. You can get a product that stops Horse's cribbing, I can not remember what it is called but go to Farmway's or the like and they will tell you, you then paint it on the wood and they do not like the taste, other than that pen him in a Wire Cage but give him as much attention as possible, the chewing is Boredom. ATB.
  22. That is over £3000 for the nine pups, I have a good mind to pack the Job in and build some bigger kennels, he must mean £35 as the best dog I ever had cost that.
