you done much on deer preban?dont sound like mate .....99% of dogs will chase deer .....but see what they really like when you do it often Honest mate I'm can't be arsed to argue with you mate but a deer is f**k all to a good wheaton x and bull x mate let's and they wasn't bred for deer mate they were bred for stuff with teeth and that's what use my dogs for something worth killing and that will fight back!! Yes 100% on stuff with teeth thats it , she hasnt the speed for bigger game , loppy lugs or even charlie at range. All i was getting at Bolio is useing the dog as an example,that if THIS dog was NOT extensively used at stud then where are all of these "FIRST X" wheaten greyhounds that has put so much in to these lurchers? Week in week out you see adverts in for sale sections here and the usual papers and magazines we all get,bull,wheaten,greyhound or bull greyhound,deerhound greyhound etc etc so where did the wheaten greyhound come from? I've got a 5/8 3/8 bitch she's retired now but in her day she would catch rabbits and hares as good as any dog but she was a better fox dog pre ban and I had 3/4 grey 1/4 bull she's dead now but she was the same quality alrounder so I'd say either of them xs going off my experience!!!atb cbx
