    Old Toyota

I haven't seen this yet but should be good as looks as tho they take it a fair old way on some rough old roads plus 40 year old car being interesting to see how it manages. Real shame about yours thieving bxxxxxxs I didn't even know there was any tercels over here..
  2. Dont get me won't wrong be nice to have a new Hilux or something maybe but I do like older cars they have character plus i to save something from potential scrap n always good to get a bargain so many people loose/spend alot of money over the years through cars don't they.
  3. I always liked the look of them and heard good things nice for a long old drive
  4. Nice bet theres loads of people that wished they'd hung onto certain cars that they'd let go for peanuts in the past not realising there worth now.
  5. Hope you get chance to do something like that it must be good fun n really rewarding when you can do things like that yourself other than basics and akso have the space. What do you think of the Yaris and starlet they always seemed good little cars don't seem to see many starlets now.
  6. Clever thinking I'm catholic my kids are Christian there mum is Buddhism but neither wants to ban Easter or say what religion one must follow
  7. Definitely risky buying second hand cars as you say and iv had a few nightmares when I was a kid n they was ones I took my dad with me to look at the nob
  8. Sounds like a good one that Shame about the accident but at least you wasn't badly hurt. I had a nova aswell but mine was a death trap according to a mechanic at the time another one down to my dad his logic was if it's got MOT it'll be right. Then Volvos you mention we're good motors eh go forever if treated well
  9. This is after they finish the nc500 n what they decide to do with the cars
  10. Thing is once it's done n with the engine could last you years n you know the truck, could get something else for more money with different issues as you know
  11. I hope they have abit of a war it will be better than last nights disappointment.. No probs with either everyone keeps comparing Connor to his dad I mean not in his shadow true but he is who he is isn't he and still calling him a cheat and eubanks size etc should get off his back now imo I'll go for Benn on this one but not saying it'll be easy.
  12. I think if your really lucky aswell and can be patient and if if it's not a stop gap and you'de want to have to have a budge car for a while hang in there and look for one that's also had a recent belt n clutch change you can find them as even with expensive cars you can spend a few grand and there due a major service were as you can sometimes get something for 500 600 quid if your careful that has had everything done.
  13. You got lucky there 120 quid for 7 years of motoring and 100 quid profit in the end do they call you delboy round your way
  14. Yeh this one is a jap I think they are the best especially the older basic ones like I say paid 350 for it and only got this as the one I had before was so good and I paid 400 for that which was supposed to be a stop gap but turned out to be the most reliable car I'd ever had never needed nothing just tires n did alot of milage go anywhere confidently in it I only replaced as it wasn't ulez That's amazing to have that milage on that little engine and best of all free lol you must have changed the belts n clutch in that time?
  15. You've done your best there and that was lucky sourcing the other truck for parts seems you have good people to help you out which is half the battle ain't it, a clutch tho labour still be about 800 for that truck will it?
  16. I think if you do your homework even if you know little about cars some bargains can be had yes some are money pits and some need scrapping, but some send off to the scrappers because they've either failed the MOT or there old and due there MOT and expected to fail or the car isn't running right and they expect it to be an expensive fix or was told it could be but alot can be saved.. I went to look at one recently it was running poor so spares n repairs and also 20 odd year old but I'd checked the previous mot's online before hand and it had flew through all aswell as no advisories so was
