  2. Would have thought IF things where that bad an accident would have happened before now, and any of the dsc courses will not make anyone into a good shot.( just how many times in a day can you do the shooting test) but you want it as you will be getting good money from them that Have to do it. Its been said above this is for the some folk to make more money, its got nothing to do with the deer. how much is a driving test by the way, does it stop accidents and fools killing or inuring others. people have been stalking and shooting deer for lots of years with very few accidents , al

  4. No reasonable offer refused on the last 2. 1 liver/1 black and white.
  5. to many domestics with currant mrs, they may think the next time you might shoot her. can see a firearms department in the country willing to risk it with this one. sorry.
  6. basc may be fighting this but how hard. Scotland it just the start, the whole of the uk will have to fall in to line with this. E U rules that come in to force 2010. lamping is next on the chopping block, unless of course you have the right qualifications. rumour has it with out these qualifications the police will take a vast amount of guns out of shooters hands. with no hope of compensation.
  7. The A1 pits part of the trent used to have a very large number of the fish you are after. once seen a film some lads from Rotherham did there , it was good with plenty of fish on the bank.
  8. you,ll find out who your true mates are if the poison needs sucking out.
  9. Good Do J. good luck with them , they look crackers mate.
  10. As long as it s cleared and your ticket reads on land deemed suitable by the chief of police, you will have no problems if it says MR Jazz can shoot and zero on mr smiths land (named land) then you will be limited to the named land. but I am sure they stopped this restriction.
  11. All now sold thanks. mods can delete it.
  12. also the fallout of any shot /bullets /pellets, have to be accounted for. it must stay on your permission.
  13. Is there a bit of confusion here? An open FAC gives you the right to shoot over any land cleared for the calibre you use. A closed FAC only entitles you to shoot over land for which you have written permission this bit is wrong. an open ticket lets you shoot on any land you have permission with any calibre that has the open condition. a closed ticket means on land that has been passed/cleared for the calibre you are using. the open ticket lark means you dont have to have land cleared/passed.
  14. firearms enquiry officer, firearms department manager. A world of difference between the pair. ALL enquiries like this should be made to the chief of police for the area you are in. then it gets handed down to the next in command, (firearms department manager). and its his decision not the feo,s.
  15. Hi N. Ask for it buy letter mate keep it official.give them a good reason. there is no time limit on granting open tickets.
