  1. chalkwarren you seem a gentleman and a scholar. well written post there. such breed are underground here in oz, with those that have them rave about them, and those that dont think they are a waste of time. personally i was never for acds, after being attacked many times growing up (living in rural oz), but now having owned them, cannot beleive the smarts of the working dog, both kelpie and cattle. for me it will be these guys (or there crosses) for the rest of my life. anyway, back to the topic, anymore pics?

stay there, last thing we need is more pommys, especially with how crap we are going in the cricket! lol. they are trying to ban pig hunting with dogs, but the thing is it will never happen. dogs account for some huge percentage of pigs taken. with out dogs this country would be over run!
  7. mate, put him on a plane and send him here.
  8. whin, top photo is the daughter to the bottom male. hence similar looks but different figures. dad is pure work, mum is work/security, and daughter is my missus dog. only have the daughter now. parents of working about 3 hours away on dairy farms. shes a bit of everything, house guard dog, retrieves when im shooting, works cattle, and gets thrown under the lamp for exercise. im not saying shes an awesome hunter, but she does what i ask of her and has fun doing it. anyway, as said before, ill be watchin with keen eyes, so keep the updates coming.
  9. well... if u wanna send a dog over here the missus will take the one with the star on its head. should be good dogs. funny how u get stuck into me night time, i never once said these dogs were gonna be bad, all i said was i perfered the blues. and then questioning my dogs sayin i would stoop low enough to show someone elses dogs as my own, nice one.
  10. yeh, much brighter than me, i dont know anything. just because a dogs a working dog doesnt mean u cant be happy with how it looks.
  11. shame you used a red heeler. would be cracker looking pups if thrown to the blue. good luck on them. was what i was looking at doing before i was forced by council to de sex. good luck, and ill be watching with interest!

  15. hi all, just introducing myself, im Paul from australia. been shooting for a long time, but in the last 6 month the dog/lurching/lamping thing has hit me. im not running conventional dogs atm, but they work for me. ones a 4 yr old german shepherd, and the others an 8 month old blue heeler (australian cattle dog). if anyones got any info on heeler cross running dogs, i would love to hear about them, as im am looking at breeding something out of my heeler.
