  3. It's actually a 3 bearded rockling. Usually very small and found around the rocks. Ugly looking critter! http://web.ukonline.co.uk/aquarium/pages/t...edrockling.html Its kinda ugly but looks eels like, would be a nice tank fish for the hall! Knifebar
  4. Hi Chris, I mite be wrong but it seems to be writen by a female! (Did ya fall out with a lady) I would probably guess your details were passed to the anti-hunt sector go give you a hard time. I would'nt worry at all mate. Knifebar
  5. Hi, I would suggest getting yourself an old leather boot. Remove the tongue and burn it, keep the ashes and mix with a small amount of of stockholm tar until you get a paste like substance not much tar. Rub onto bare patch and hair should grow. An old man of (he knows about horses and thats fact) give me this for treating horses who lost hair through injury or mud rash. It may work on dogs! Kinfebar
  6. Never did but I think it's going to get its maiden voyage here. Although I have her "trapped". She wants to go on a Hen Weekend with some friends and she asked would it be OK, all I could think of was "CHECK MATE" or "BORWNING 525". Knifebar
  7. Thanks Snap Shot, I have handled a few guns and this is the 1st gun I really felt like definately buying. It just felt a snug fit with nice lift and balance. I think I may have to buy on terms, ie need to put application to the wife to be passed for purchase. Knifebar
  8. Would it be a good idea to sheet the floor of the run with 8'x4' exterior ply, and then cover with wood chips. Maybe cleaner. Knifebar

  10. Hi I was at the gun shop on Saturday to see what sort of gun I could afford. I was shown a Lanber Sport gun £550 new. A medalist £750 (new) but he then gave me a BROWNING 525 Advance 28" M/C. I was impressed I think it was Grade 2.5 not sure what that means. It felt brilliant fairly light beautiful pistol grip etc. etc. Has anyone got one of these guns as I did'nt ask him if it was steel proof or if I could shoot magnums? They were asking around £1100 for this gun. Knifebar
  11. Brilliant, will try soon as there are a least 10 rabbits coming in from the field next door. Needing, as nephew said "away to bunny heaven"! Thanks Knifebar
  12. Hi All I tried to lamp rabbits but every time I shine the lamp they take of like a bullet. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong. I would like to be able to shoot them. Knifebar
  13. How does this fair compared to a .22. (what sort of dough was that, if you don't mind me asking. knifebar
  14. I may be wrong but they look like the male version of a brown laying hen used in egg farms. I think when they are producing hens for the egg factory system they sex them, Hens live males die. But those males seem to have made an escape. I may be wrong but I think those type of fowl are sterile so as not to get any blood in the eggs. If this is not correct I very sorry. They are not Rhode Island Reds which some people would claim to be (not red enough). Your silky looks like a cross of a Black Silky and a Wyondotte. Kind Regards Knifebar
  15. Hello Morris, Will try that soon as season starts 1 Feb, should be fish after the floods we had. Many thanks Knifebar
  16. At least I got someone a laugh.

  18. In all fairness the trap is beside some old scrub and trees and it is quite likely there maybe badgers in there, that is most likely the case it was robbed by badgers. I shall have to fix and locate close my dog. (Pedigree Collie, good guard dog). Cheers Knifebar
  19. In a fictional sense does anyone think that "PREDATOR" the fictional alien is the untilmate HUNTER! WEAPONS - CAMO - QUARRY Has anyone seen the new AVP-R film, if so whats it like. Knifebar
  20. I had the trap baited with old lamb bones and scatterings of bread. Mutant Magpies. LOL Don't worry the campaign will continue. Knifebar
  21. Well how does a Lanbar fair against a Beretta versus a Browning Medalist
  22. Anti-hunt, How many people here who have hunted actually know about anti-hunt or have had experience of them? I have had meetings with these people, they are inteligent, some educated they are networked and organised throughout the British Isles, they know the law, I have seen them using entrapment tactics to obtain photos, video images etc etc to further their beliefs. Lots of them come from inner cities (milk comes from a carton) but there are others whom reside within hunting communities totally uncover. They will stop at nothing in order to gain their selfish views. So ther
  23. Well BAD NEWS:- A f$%&**g cat, dirty vicious spitting throg. Ate every thing and got trapped. Some job trying to get the cat out. Well, if that wasn't bad enough something came and wrecked one of the trap compartments, wire all ripped and a big hole in the bottom. Yiz did'nt tell me the Magpie's were that violent. LOL What could it be that done this?? Knifebar
