Agreed. I was very happy with my yukon n470s at weekend. Absolutely mizzle all night but able to ID a horse at (I later worked out) over 700yds using SRX.

We're lucky - we had a wild pair on farm. I've taken it upon myself to help them. Combo of foxing, running 3 larsens in spring, not mowing right to hedge & cutting later and supplementary feeding. Doing count last autumn and we now have regular 6 birds with extras appearing during winter. Every little helps!

I saw some greys of another kind pairing up today. Perdix. Pretty early, but from the racket they making I'd say the pair wanted last years youngsters to give them some space!

Yes mate I'm 99% sure it's spring after swapping like you said. Fingers crossed I'll be able to make it to gunsmith to get new spring. But just incase... Bought a 16 bore aya from fella down the road!

Fellas, Dusting shotgun off for its occasional glimpse of daylight, just checked with snap cap ones got jammed, ejector hasn't spat it out and now stuck. Suggestions? Need it working by Saturday !
