    did this lining about 20 years ago after speaking to geneticsis who worked for the government he told me that you would get a smaller sized dog and litter ( the first litter that she had was 7 ) she had 4 , also if there are any faults they will be amplified ( 1 dog was undershot ) the bitch was very very slightly undershot, also it would amplified the good points , you just have to weigh up are there more good or bad points, he told me if i was a pig farmer he would advise me not to do it ,

    hi mate make sure you have enough work for a springer and they do need a lot of work , they are very hypo when not working, on the other hand a bedlinton very good hunter but very laid back when not working ,it is as tough they have a on/off switch on them, they are a little head strong but very biddable, i have a 3 year old and a 6 month old pup that i am going to train up as a gun dog fingers crossed , or you could get a beddy/whippet good hunters and will catch you rabbits/rats ATB

    mother to them was broken coated was about 23" we think it comes from a bedlington if you look at my pup you can see the similarities

    my dad says they look like some of the older dogs from the Lucy / Blackarse bloodlines that some lads he knew from up ashington / linton way used to have tell your dad he is right although they are not related to lucy or blackarse and one of them is from the area

    best rabbit dog you can get day or night if you want a genuine first cross get yourself a greyhound bitch and get a lining of a working bedligton then you can pick your own , the rest will sell no problem if you are not greedy with the price
