sorry bout the link but i just typed that to get the link the competition is going again watched it yesterday.as for not watching country file as some of you say,but me im old enough and intelligient enough to make my mind up what i find imformative and whats a load of shit.some of the stories are really good.however each to there own. your right some good topics,but doesnt hide the fact there a bunch of so called country people who back the ban and if thats because they have to be "politically correct" for the bbc then there hypocrits , john craven tellin lads who where out with there dog

jasper your so right its a privilidge to watch the young , they dont half make some noise when flyin with there parents thats the give away really cause most of the sightings are through the young screamin, the pair im seein at the moment have 2 young, yes they use eyries i have known for 20 odd yrs, havent yet but would love to witness the adult passin/releasin live prey for the young, difficult now a days to watch nests the authorities would be down on you like a ton off bricks and rightly so to be sure no one tampered with them,yrs ago i watched the nests and also found a hen harriers nest

cheers jasper for that info, the peregrine is on the official crest of the isle of man, when a new monarch was installed in england ,it was manx custom to present the new ruler was presented with 2 "wild manx perigrines" not sure whether that custom still stands though i doudt it will.

alright lads,love watching the wild perigrines with there young this time off yr, infact watching any birds of prey to see is a joy,never flew a bird of prey so no knowledge what so ever, into my dogs, question is few yrs back a falconer who lived here {isle of man} kieth clare,told me the peregrines we have here are the biggest in europe , he may of been pullin my leg as he knew i use to go watching them, does anyone know if this is right, also we do have a lot of hen harriers here see them regulary !

there is a belief that a shrew is as ferocious as anything , males are believed to fight to the death at times over territory, just what ive read or heard cant recall, my terrier goes crazy for them in there grassy runs and at times is succesful, though i dont add them to the catch bag -

when rossi was on isle of man last yr he said he wouldnt do it, his lap off honour was enough, as for not takin the bikes to the limit you aint seen them down bray hill or through ballacrye UNREAL, every senario imaginable over 37 plus miles short circuit stuff to flyin through villages stone walls everywhere then up the mountain then takin into account the weather from strong winds up through the mountain to damp patches under trees then perfect conditions in other places all on 1 lap, thats why i consider its the ultimate to man and machine compared to going round a circuit UNIQUE. if you have your dog insured, i could be wrong but i wouldnt be surprised if your jabs arent up to date and your dog suffers an injury the insurance becomes invalid, plus surely when kennellin your dog they may need to produce evidence your dogs jabs are up to date and 1 time or another some of us may have to kennel them, so a rip off some people have to go along with.
