Dont know how to do pics the ones ive had up in the past have been done by a mate , its horses for courses with a dog mate , if you prefer to lamp and the dog does what suits you then you have all you need , ferreting when plenty is happening is fast and furious but not always like that have to take the rough with the smooth , a good ferreting dog becomes part off a team with yourself the ferrets and nets and when it works well your dog is worth its weight in gold. i love mooching about with the whippet and the terrier never catch many but the hunt itself has us on our toes , the whippet just

You say a dog poking his head in a hole means nothing ? well my whippet has taken 20 odds on the lamp BUT id say his work with the ferret and nets puts the dog up a notch than just running down a beam , a dog needs to use more nouse when out with ferrets nets ect , if it doesnt work with the ferret and knows the net it can become a hinderance more than a help so id rate a whippet who works with ferrets ect to a decent standard above 1 who can catch lamping , just my opinion.

Yep i get what your saying mate and your right,especially the example about Special Forces etc that was a good one .......but i personally dont class dedication/drive as a skill......a skill is something that cant be taught you just have a natural talent for something...you may go your whole life without ever even knowing you have it,but its there.......dedication/drive if its there will usually surface in some other form it dont have to be sport some folk are just born naturally more driven than others.......drive with no skill is useless if your in a sport that requires skill........drive w

Remember 2 fights from mid 80s , nobody seems to remember them but to me there where classics a welshman colin jones v an American Milton Mcory i think ive got the names right , the American got the verdict in both fights , though i thought (though certranily no expert, and wouldnt take an argument about boxin cause i just watch and never boxed) Jones won 1 off them .

Theoretically Tomo yes....but as we know it doesnt work out like that.......genetically west african blacks tend to dominate in sprinting....east african blacks tend to dominate in long distance running..................likewise with something like weightlifting being dominated by whites.......so to an extent sport is dictated by genetics......but what im getting at with cycling,there is no real genetic reason or skills/talent reason why virtually anyone with the right mindset could not reach the top........ronnie o sullivan trains very little yet continues to be one of the best snooker player

Got mine 2 yrs ago R495 MAN which reads Rags Man after the terrier i had for 18yrs , paid £86 i think it was , tried to get 1 for my son 12 mth ago Al80 MAN which would read ALB0 MAN (his name is Alex but called Albo) they wanted 2 grand plus for it , why they have put them all up to that price i dont know , fair enough the real popular 1s i can understand being pricey but not run off the mill 1s .

I think maybe cycling doesnt have a skill that you can see , i.e. control of a ball , dart ect but i definetly think you have to have a talent , maybe it comes from within , so i could off taken up cycling and competed against Cavendish , put the work in ect and really give my all but hidden deep inside when push comes to shove he would always come out on top , when Cavendish was 1st called up to train with the british squad as a 15/16 yr old there was another lad from here who went with him and it wasnt a secret he was BETTER than Cavendish but he didnt see it through so maybe thats where the

No cant deny the boys done good and deserves everything he gets................not that i know much about cycling............but for me,a proper sport must require skill as well as fitness...............would it be too harsh to say anyone could be a cyclist if they had the determination and drive...............in other words it doesnt take any skills you were born with to be a cyclist...........id actually say darts is more of a sport than cycling it takes natural skill ! ....................... im not sure if ive convinced myself or not I see where your coming from , im not too switc

Hahaha Gnash , not a proper sport , the Tour De France must be the most punishing sporting event in World sport and this lad has over the last few yrs won over 20 yes 20 stages , officially the BEST SPRINTER IN THE WORLD , now to be the best at a sport so demanding/tough is a feat to rival any sportsman this country has , and coming from Isle Of Man makes it that extra special

Surely Mark Cavendish will win Sport's Personality of the year tonight , if he doesnt i dont think he will ever win it after what he has achieved this yr , the "MANX MISSILE" will hopefully be the toast off the Isle Of Man tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!
