A yr last xmas I badly twisted my ankle on the railway track. Went for an x-ray no break.but on the x-ray was a little finger nail size piece of bone about 1/2" from my ankle bone just sitting there. The doctor said it looks like an old break.i didn't even know I had done it yrs ago. She badly broke her front leg last year.running as fast as she could then front leg went down a rabbit hole and damaged her shoulder ligaments aswell.Maybe it's from an excess of calcium as her body repaired the leg. And deposited it on her rib. It's right on the end like a small uneven extension on the rib. my lurcher bitch coming back from a bad injury has that lump like grisle on her middle rib.........is that calcium does that.I'm not sure what causes it to be honest mate.
