    Whatever rifle you get just make sure it's powerfull enough to do the job at hand and you don't try and shoot beyond it's capability...but I'm sure you know that, as for a nice cheap hunter why not try and get hold of a BSA Lightning there are always a few on hear and reasonably priced too.     Red I'm afraid....tried others in the past but red does the trick.......just ask "Goldenarms" & "The Duck" they will vouch for red filters.
