    Last ever poll for the 2008/09 Hunting life lamp comp, were down to the two finalists....................... LDR with Bruce a deer/grey composite standing around 27" tts, although were not 100% sure of his parentage And the ever modest Markbrick, the self made man and his whippet Cat, with a tiny dash of collie standing around 22" tts, who will be victorious you decide A real little and large battle a david and goliath if you like

    good stuff, hopefully ill see some of them run someday i couldnt be more pleased with my bitch off trigger/sal, she is everything and more that i wanted in a lurcher if i was to have the same standard of dog the rest of my lucher owning life id be more than happy.

    agreed first looks a cracker a leg in each corner, second also nice but maybe a bit fine boned?

    imo a reasonable amount of time should be given for a re-run or alternative date, set by the competition organiser not the competitors, say a week from the first date and if then either of the contestants cannot make it the other goes through on a "by" no if no buts, at the end of the day where at all possible the heat should be run so to find the best dog, but imo there should never be an event of twice the competitors not making the date as they then have to question whether they really want to run in the contest?
