    you will have to use no ferrous metal [brass stainless steel ect ] or it will turn the oak black

    oak wont work very well as a handle because it moves to much from moisture changes unless you have it stabalized woodandknivesupply.com dose do a stabalization service if you have a peice of wood you want to use but they also have a huge range of handles all corby bolts pins liners ect.. and are quite cheap i buy all my gear from them now

    they look the part they do, are the forks same style and same sort of width as the milbro did you make the forks they are a bit smaller than milbros and a diffrent shape i will post a pic of it next to a milbro when i get a chance
